I woke up in a room that wasn't mine. Looking around, it was quite familiar. The guitar I had gotten for Luke was sat by his desk, along with his old one right next to it.
I guess I must have fallen asleep in the car on the way home. Last night was just fantastic. I didn't want it to end as quick as it did.
My phone started to go off. I found it laying on Luke's desk next to his school stuff. It was a text from Michael.
From : Michael
Soooooo, how was last night??
Mike was always up my ass when it came to dates. Although I had never been kissed before Luke, I did have a couple of so called "dates" these past years.
Next thing I know, I received practically the same text from Ashton and Calum, both asking how the date went. Instead of answering them individually, I put them all in a group chat.
* so you're not confused, it goes by their initials *
ML : Last night was amazing! Maybe if you guys had girlfriends, you could do cute things like this with them.
AI : Mac, you know that none of us could ever keep a steady girlfriend.
MC : Yeah, when was the last time any of us had a date?
CH : Well there was that one girl I dated for like a month.
MC : Cal, that was in year 8 and we were like 13. That doesn't count.
ML : Plus you didn't even hang out after school, you just sat together at lunch.
AI : Yeah sorry, Mate. Doesn't count.
CH : Thanks for crushing my dreams, lads.
ML : Anytime, Calum. ☺️
The convo ended a while later since I told them that it's already 11:30 and I haven't gotten out of bed.
When I pulled off the covers, I noticed I wasn't in my dress anymore. It had been neatly folded and put on his dresser, and I was now in plaid pajama bottoms and a Green Day shirt that was a little too big for me. Did Luke change me? Curiosity got the best of me, so I went in search of Luke. My feet padded across the carpet as I made my way down the steps, seeing he wasn't upstairs.
I found Luke in the living room playing fifa. He hadn't noticed I was there until I took a seat on the couch next to him.
He turned his head and smiled at me, "Morning." I smiled and said it back.
"Hey, Luke."
"Yeah?" He questioned with his head still facing the screen, scoring another goal.
"Did you," I started. I wasn't sure how to bring this up exactly. "Last night when we got home, did you change me out of my dress?"
Luke had now paused the game, and I could see a slight blush forming on his cheeks. "I didn't look, I swear!"
I laughed at how cute he was. "It's okay!"
He sighed and turned to me. "I really didn't look. I respect you too much to do that. Plus, I thought you would be uncomfortable sleeping in a dress."
Luke is probably the only guy I know that has this much respect for girls. Any other guy just wants to get into a girl's pants, no matter what.
I leaned forward and gave Luke a passionate, yet quick kiss. "Thank you."
"Mmhm" He mumbled with his eyes still closed.
I sat back and watched as he opened them once again to reveal his beautiful blue eyes. I gazed into them and I could see him lean forward.
Soon enough, Luke closed the gap once more and it became a make out session on his couch.
"Luke," I mumbled into the kiss. "What if your parents walk in?"
He began to stroke my arm to calm me down. The last thing I would want is for Liz and Andrew to walk in on us making out on their furniture.
"Don't worry, they went out early this morning." Luke assured me, giving me a quick peck before pulling away.
We opened our eyes and somehow started a staring contest between each other.
Being the jerk I am, I blew in Luke's face. He closed his eyes from the air drying them out and I laughed, making a squealing noise.
I kissed his nose while his eyes were still closed, and quickly got up and started to run up the steps to his room.
"I hate you, Mackenzie!" He yelled from the couch, not even bothering to chase after me.
"No you don't!" I laughed. "I'm too adorable for you to hate!"
