Chapter Two: The Apocalypse Begins

Diamond's POV

I woke up in my room. I thought about my nightmare last night. Apparently it woke up the rest of the girls too. I still had the things the girls threw at me when I woke them up. They were pillows. I got changed and looked in the mirror. My eyes were red and puffy from my nightmare instead of dark purple. I washed my eyes and they returned to their normal color. I opened the door but as I stepped out, a big waterfall fell on me. Of course, the prankster did this often. Katrina. She lived to play pranks, literally. This time, it looked like she picked me. But they know not to mess with me. I stomped down the stairs. Laurel had made boiled eggs and cooked steak. When the girls looked at me, they cracked up. Katrina smiled innocently at me. Olivia said," Looks like the prankster strikes again." I rolled my eyes and sat down to eat. 'Laurel made breakfast better than Emily yesterday', I thought."Hey!",Emily said. I asked," Did I say that out loud?" They nodded. I wolfed my breakfast down. I got up and went to my room. I took out my drawing book and pen. I opened to an empty page and started drawing. I drew my feelings out in my book. A couple of minutes later, I realized I was drawing the Enderdragon. My feeling I drew was homesickness. I missed my adoptive father but not much. I finished my drawing. I putted my book away and walked out my door. This time, I made sure that there was no prank waiting for me. When I checked that it was safe, I walked outside. I decided to take a walk in town. I told the girls that I'll be going to town. I went outside and started walking to town. But when I arrived there, it was strangely quiet. I crept around and called out the townspeople's name. No one answered. I started to get worried. I ran about and went into everyone's house. They were empty. It looked like the town was abandoned. I looked up randomly at the sky. I saw that the sky was gray even though there was no clouds. I heard a shuffling and turned around. There was a giant horde of zombies coming towards me. They were the townspeople. I screamed and ran super fast to the house. I ran inside and slammed the door hard, panting. The girls came down to see what was wrong. Angelica asked," What happened?" I told them what I saw. They looked at me in shock. We heard banging and groans at the door. We went to the door and peered out of the window. The zombie horde had followed me here. I said," We need to evacuate NOW!" We gathered our food and weapons. I grabbed my Ender sword, a gift from the Enderdragon. It was the only one in the whole wide world and the most powerful. We ran out our back door and sprinted away. If there was one thing for sure, it was that the apocalypse had begun
