"Friends show their love in times of trouble, not happiness"

                                         -Euripides

"Hermione, open up" Ginny practically screamed as she knocked on her friends door very loudly.

"What is it Ginny?" Said Hermione opening the door vastly.

"I need to talk to you" she said letting herself in.

Hermione watched her as her friend openly walked into her home and sat on the couch as if she lived there.

Hermione playfully rolled her eyes and closed the door. She took a seat in the chair across from Ginny and grabbed the tea she wa drinking until Ginny decided to intrude her this early in the morning.

"What is it?" Said Hermione taking a sip of her warm tea.

"I need your help" said Ginny scardly.

"With what?" Said Hermione taking another sip.

"I think I'm in love with Harry" said Ginny bitting her lip.

Hermione spit the tea in her mouth out and looked at her friend.

"You what?" Said Hermione, her eyes going wide.

"I think I may be in love with Harry" she said trying to be clear.

Hermione put her hand to her mouth and looked at her best friend.

"Are you joking with me?" She said her eyes going wider, even though she didn't think that they could.

"No" said Ginny almost chewing a hole into her bottom lip.

"What are you going to do, your dating Colin"

"I don't know" said Ginny getting even more scared.

"I thought you said you really liked Colin"

"I did, I still do, but my heart wants Harry"

"Have you thought about this in your head"

"Yeah, kinda"

"Well, what do you have planned?"

"Well I was sorta hoping that you would figure out if Harry liked me"

"Why would I do that?"

"Because 'Mione if I fo up to him and say that I like him, and he doesn't, it may ruin our friendship"

"Have you though about Colin at all in this plan you have"

"Yes, and that why your asking him, If I asked Harry, it would sorta be like cheating on Colin and if Harry doesn't like me I wouldn't be wasting my time"

"Wow, surprisingly you though this through"

"Oh whatever, Are you gonna do this"

"I don't know"

"Please Hermione"

"Ginny it'll be awkward"

"Please Hermione, do this for me"

"Ginny I think this is a bad idea"

"Hermione, Harrywould either talk to you or Ron about this stuff and Ron would freak if I said I liked Harry"

"I still don't know Ginny"

"Hermione please, I need to know"

Hermione looked on her friends desperate face, her mind contemplating what to do.

"Okay"

"Your gonna do it?"

"Yeah, I guess" Shrugged Hermione.

"Oh Hermione" said Ginny enthusiastically, "Thank you Thank you"

Ginny jumped up and quickly gave her friend a hug.

Hermione smiled and hugged her friend back.

"What is all the bloody noise about?" Ron said from upstairs.

"None of your bloody business" said Ginny looking up at the staires.

"Ginny?" A sleepy Ron questioned.

"Yes Ginny" said Hermione looking up at the staires.

"I best be going" said Ginny, "Thank you again Hermione, Thank you"

She gave her one last hug before she happily skipped out the door.

"Bye" she said to the people behind her.

"Bye" said Hermione calmly as her friend walked out the door.

Ginny left the apartment building and to her own.

She plopped onto the couch resting her feet.

What if Harry didn't like her the same way that she did?

The thought stirred in her head, making her feel dizzy inside.

Her stomach did a light summer salt.

She was not ready for the pain to come if this man named Harry Potter did not like her.
