Joe turned on the boys old playlist that they used for learning music. Paisley was the last to come into the pool area. She was in a yellow and black bikini.
Bucky who was holding Chloe with his dog tags in her mouth. He looked up at her as she started to get in. He saw her belly button piercing and a side tattoo.
"Paisley when did you do all that?" Natasha said
"Oh I um got this done when I moved to NY. Sadie got it for me as a late birthday present." She said as she pointed to her tattoo.
"And my piercing is something I got myself." She said
"Dad?" Steve said
"Hey I wasnt for the first one and I wasnt for all this. But she doesnt live with me anymore. This hair color I hate as well." Joe said
She looked down.
"But whatever makes her happy." He said
They all enjoyed a family swim she continued to ignore both Addie and Bucky. That night he heard someone get up. He went to go see who was awake. He carefully walked downstairs and found Paisley downstairs.
"Give me that." He said as he took her bourbon bottle and poured out the shot.
"Hey you dont get to boss me around." She said
"No but maybe I dont want you to go down the same road as my brother." He said
"Its my life." She said as she went to get the bottle back down.
"Stop...this isnt you Paisley Josephine.." he said as he pulled her out of the bar area.
"Let me go." She said as she pushed him off of her.
"Hey hey..look at me darlin. What have you done with my Paisley?" He said
"I have never been yours..you have made it abundantly clear that I will never be yours." She said as she pushed him off.
"Paisley.."he said as she started to walk back upstairs.
"Go to hell James." She said as she turned around to face him then turned back around.
He gasped. "Paisley.." he said
She went back to staying in her room unless it was to eat or to do Christmas for the rest of the trip. When it was the day to leave they all loaded up.
They got to the terminal Joe was getting their tickets. "Dad just get you all a straight shot to Georgia and me a ticket to NY. Im going home I dont need anybody to hold my hand." She said
Bucky heard her then heard Joe said "1 ticket to NY."
The lady gave Paisley her ticket she hugged everyone but Bucky and Addie goodbye. "Paisley.." Bucky said but she just kept walking.
"Good job little brother.." Bucky whispered as she disappeared.
Bucky said "you know?"
"She told me" he said as they walked to their gate.
Addie hugged him "Its going to be okay Buck..she is just being childish." She said
They heard her flight being called Paisley boarded her flight. Joe came to their gate once he saw her off. Bucky watched as her plane took off.
Their flight took off thirty minutes later. Once they landed in Georgia they headed home to Fort Bragg.
