Chapter 26: It's A Boy!

On April 8th it started like any other day. Paisley went to her morning classes. She came home for lunch where she ate a italian sub sandwich she picked up on her way home.

She went to take a nap Winnie came in. She knew Paisley was getting close to her due date so she went to check on her. Paisley woke up "hey.." she said

"Hey sweetheart. I was just checking on you. You feeling okay?" Winnie said

"Not really..Ive been feeling uncomfortable since I got home." She said

"Come downstairs we will time them." Winnie said

Bradley was still the only one that knew the truth. She knew Winnie would be hurt that her son did the same thing his dad did to her. She followed Winnie downstairs where she began to time her contractions.

Joe came in and helped so Winnie could make dinner. They ate dinner her contractions were still 5-10 minutes apart. Around 11Pm they started to get intense and closer together.

By midnight they were rushing her to the hospital. Joe called Natasha and Steve to tell them the baby was coming. Nobody else in the family knew that she was pregnant not even Addie.

Natasha came into the room. "Nat.." she said through a contraction.

"You are okay Pais..Im here now.." Natasha said as she grabbed her hand.

"Where are we at Winnie?" Natasha said since it took them awhile to get down.

"We are at an 8." Winnie said

Paisley let out a breathe and moaned through another one. "You got this Paisley Jo.." Natasha said

Natasha continued to be there and coach her through it all. Natasha's mom came in "Okay girls let's have us a baby."

Natasha and Winnie got into postition. "Okay let's start pushing." Catalina said

Paisley began to push. "Good job Paisley give me another one." Catalina said

Paisley beared down and pushed again. She pushed three more times till she heard a tiny cry 8:05 AM.

"Its a boy mama.." Catalina said

Natasha cut the cord for her. The nurse laid him on her chest. He started to root around. Natasha showed her what to do.

She smiled at him as he ate. He had big ocean blue eyes and tiny wisps of dark hair. She wiped tears as she whispered "Liam Greyson James."

Bucky was still overseas he had been trying to get hold of his mom all morning. He finally called his dad to see if his mom was working. "I think I seen her upstairs earlier." James said

"Well can you tell her that her youngest son is trying to get ahold of her." He said

"I will." James said

James went up to the maternity floor. He found Winnie at the nursery "hey Winnie..James just called me he said he's been trying to call you." James said

"I know. Paisley has been in labor all night she gave birth to a baby boy this morning." She said

"Oh.." James said

"Yeah. She wanted to be surprised so she didnt know till two hours ago." She said

"Well thats good. Im sure Joe is excited for another a grandson." James said

"Yeah.." Winnie said as she walked off.

She skyped Bucky from her car. "Finally the ER that busy this morning?" He said

"Dont you act like that with me." She said

"Sorry..um Addie said you cancelled your flight to come in for Skyler's third birthday. Is something wrong?" He said

"Just something has come up that I have to take care of." Winnie said

"Mom..you never keep stuff from me. And Im getting the feeling that you are keeping something from me." He said

She looked down.

"Mom..is it you or dad? One of you sick or something? Or did Bradley relapse." He said

He looked at her face. He ended the call and immediately called Steve. He knew what ever it was it was about Paisley.

Steve saw Bucky was trying to skype while he held his nephew and ignored it. A few hours later Bucky tried again Steve answered.

"Hey sorry about earlier." He said

"Steve..you are always honest with me. Is something wrong with Paisley?" Bucky said

"No..she is fine." Steve said

Bucky rolled his eyes and said "dont fucking lie to me."

"She said to tell you nothing about her life if you ever asked. I dont know what you do but you hurt her for the last time." Steve said

Bucky sighed. He hung up and whispered "baby Im sorry" then went to his tent.
