Chapter 21: A Surprise and Saying Goodbye.

"Joe honey we have something from Brooklyn High school for the Arts? But why?" Winnie said as she read the envelope.

Joe looked at her confused and opened it up.

We are excited to inform you that your student will be performing her student showcase on May 5th at 7pm. Below is the website in which you can purchase tickets for the family to attend. We welcome all family members and friends.

"Paisley goes to a performing arts high school?" Winnie said

"Sadie is a teacher at this school. I had no idea that she got her in." Joe said

Joe called Sadie who informed him to not get to excited she wasn't dancing. Winnie called everyone including Steve and Bucky. She purchased tickets for everyone to come includingWanda,Clint,Scott,Hope,Sam and Katelynn.

They all got their tickets while Sadie helped Paisley put together her outfit. She had a hairdresser get her blonde hair back.

Two weeks later everyone was gathering into the school auditorum. Bucky was holding their 1 month old daughter Skyler Brooke and Addie had Chloe.

They had other students perform dance numbers and piano numbers. Finally Sadie walked out "This next performer is my niece Paisley Jo Rogers. Her showcase is something she put together herself I hope you enjoy."

The curtain opened to reveal her playing a piano as she started to sing "Used To Love You."

"She's blonde." Winnie said

"Her blonde" Joe said

Bucky swallowed hard. The next song she did she took her mic and stood up. The band started to play "Cry Pretty"

She put it on the mic stand that stood centerstage. "Get it baby sister" Steve said when she started to belt.

She went back to playing the piano as she started to play "the words" by Christina Perri.

She kept her eyes closed cause she knew Bucky was somewhere in the audience. Joe told her everyone was coming. The next song she did was "Always Remember This Way"

"Oh my god." Wanda whispered as she started to sing and play.

"Kill it Pais" Natasha said as she tapped Silas' back.

She landed every note and keyboard slide. Joe whispered "thats my girl."

She started to play and sing "Stone Cold." By Demi Lovato. Bucky swallowed hard and closed his eyes. Bradley looked at him "You okay?" He whispered.

"Sure.." he said as she belted out.

After she finished that song. She picked up her acoustic guitar and started to sing "I Got The Boy" as she played.

"She plays?" Addie said

"Yeah Steve taught her how." He said

Winnie was singing along she loved that song. It reminded her of her relationship with James. She switched out guitars she started to sing "Girl Crush."

"And she plays a guitar like yours." Addie said

"Yeah.." he said

Natasha smiled she knew where she got that song from. She and Wanda started to sing along with Hope and Katelynn. Bucky heard them as he looked down at them.
