I've suddenly got this thought in my head of Adrien making bread with the Dupain-Chengs one day and he's doing much better than he's ever done before

And Tom casually says, "that's good work, Adrien! I'm proud of you," and goes back to kneading the bread

And then there's a clatter and a series of wet splats and Tom turns around to see that Adrien has dropped an entire tray of unbaked sweetrolls and is just standing frozen in the middle of the kitchen, blinking like he's trying not to cry

And Tom realizes that this is the first time anyone has told Adrien they were proud of him in years

Chat noir: (Pulling an angry Ladybug away from Lila) Easy there. Fu would have taken your miraculous if you fought her.

Ladybug: (Sighs) You're right, Thanks for saving my life.

Chat noir: No, I saved your job. I saved that woman's life.

Chat noir: (Hugging her as Ladybug smiles) you would have Kicked.Her.Ass.
