proud father

(at the hospital)

nia's pov- I was sitting next to stonie on my right and roc on my left. prince and ray stood to the far off side and We were waiting to see nika. It was too quiet. why? I looked at prince as he had the weirdest face. I looked at stonie and then roc. "um.....are we missing something?" I asked.

"right. Im a little confused." roc agreed with me.

"i just want to see my baby" ray said holding his hand.

"yeah iight and you stonie?" I continued. and stonie looked at prince with a sorry face. but prince ignored. it stayed quiet and awkward until the nurse walked in,

"you may now come see ranikka." She said opening the door., and we all walked in.

"baby girl" I ran up to nika and hugged her

"what happend?"

She looked at me with her half shut eyes.

"I want ray" She said in a harsh whisper.

I looked up at ray as he walked\in between roc and prince.

RAY'S POV- I sat at the end of the bed nika was laying on. "baby why" I asked and she looked at me with her bottom lip quivering in fear,

" I dont want to lose you" She said to me. and d*mn. I wont lie. i will forever keep those words in my heart. I wasnt mad or upset about her being pregnant. I just want to be a good dad. Im scared i wont be a good dad. I cuddled up with her  and rubbed her tummy.

" I want this baby. Have my baby. " I said holding her hand and kissing on her palm

"yes" she said with a smile. and rubbed her hands threw my unbraided hair.

 Just then  the nurse came in.

"um are you all staying the night with ms.payne?" she asked

"I am yall can go home " I volenteered.and roc,stonie, nia and prince left out

I was evadentally proud. I couldnt wait to see my son or daughter smiling at me as I held them in my arms,  I knew I was going to be a proud father.
