I couldn't help the colorful profanities that shot out of my mouth at the end of this conversation. It is my day off today. Netflix and chill are what I was gonna do until the wretched being I call friend informed me about the meeting. This day can't get any worse.
One hour later...
Okay. I take my words back. This day is getting worse with every passing moment!
First, Everett's late arrival at the decided place. Second, A very awkward introduction with all the investors. And third and the last which made me want to run away was, Presence of Romero Valentino as one of the investors. And what made my day even worse was his whisper of words,
"We meet again baby... And this time I won't let you run away..."

I know what you guys are thinking. Yes. This was a planned meeting. Why do you ask me? Simple. Not seeing Miguel, not talking to him was driving me insane. And like Nishan said Romero Valentino doesn't go down without a fight.
Seeing Miguel sitting there, lost in his thoughts, nibbling on his food like some cute rabbit made my heart beat faster. It is hard to describe how I feel when I see him. The train of my thoughts was broken by the clinking of a wine glass. Looking ahead I found Miguel saying something using sign language. Everyone looked towards Everett to interpret the meaning of it.
"What Miguel is saying is- Gentlemen... I think we should be heading back. It was a pleasure meeting you guys. We need a little time to think about the proposals presented today. I hope you won't mind." said Everett earning a series of 'we don't mind' and 'it was a pleasure to meet yous'. Welp, it really was a long-ass lunch but I don't wanna let my little rabbit go!
"Don't go sulking Sir. We have a meeting scheduled with Mr.Endrizzi tomorrow. You'll get to see him very soon." Chase whispered, once again snapping me out of my thoughts. How he knows about my attraction for Miguel is quite obvious if the ruckus I caused at work is to go by.
"Don't act all clueless Sir. I already requested Madam Valentino to let you handle this project for her. Now let's leave. It's time for your next meeting. "
I really need to increase the salary of this secretary of mine. He's just too good.
