"You look crispy, Vee." Luke laughed when I walked into work. It felt so good to be back honestly.

After my allergic reaction spell, I took a few days off because the doctors wanted to make sure I was fine. But now I'm back and I'm better.

"Oh hey, Vee. I'm glad you're not dead. You know, I was really worried about that. I'm happy you're back and okay. Oh thanks Luke it means a lot." I joke as he rolls his eyes.

As I get my stuff ready, Luke and Leonard start talking about their favorite Lord of the Rings scene as Finn walks over to me.

"Hey, I'm sorry about the whole allergic reaction thing. I feel really bad about that." He apologized making me smile.

"Don't, it's fine. See, I'm breathing just fine." He smiled lightly but it quickly dropped. "Is your boyfriend mad at me still?" He asked crossing his arms.

I literally have to arch my neck when I look up at him because he's so tall. "He's just protective because of my past and everything. But he feels bad about getting pissed off." I explain to him.

"I was hoping I could make it up to you at lunch. It could be an apology meal for sending you to the hospital." What's the harm in it?

I know he didn't mean to hurt me and I know he wants to make it up. "It can be your choice." He added as I nodded my head.

"You can count me in." It's just two friends going out for lunch so one could make up to the other. Plus I get to chose where, of course I'll go.

I texted Colby and let him know that Finn was taking me out for lunch for making up that he gave me an allergic reaction.

He was actually pretty cool with it. When lunch came, we both waved to Luke and Leonard as we walked out.

"Okay, so. Where's your car?" I ask putting my hands on my hips. "You're looking at it." He said which confused me.

I then look over and noticed we were infront of a motorcycle. I looked up at him like he was crazy. "This is a motorcycle." I bluntly say as he shrugs.

"Oh come on, have you never been on one?" He asked, his Australian accent sounding very strong. "Nope. And you wanna know why?" I ask raising my eyebrows.

He just shrugs as he looks down at me. "Because I currently enjoy my life. And I don't wanna die." I say as he sits on the motorcycle, grabbing a helmet.

"That's not what you said when you ate my cookies." I dropped my jaw as he handed his helmet to me. "Get on dork. And close your mouth. The bugs will get in." I groan as I take the helmet from him.

I sat behind him on his motorcycle, not knowing what's gonna happen. "You know you have to wrap your hands around me right?" He asked smirking behind me.

"I'm getting there, shut up." I tell him as he laughs. I wrap my arms around him and hold onto my hands. "You better hold on tight." He said revving it up.

I close my eyes as he starts driving. My heart beat rose as we got faster and faster. If only Brandon could see me now.

The wind from the air actually felt nice and it cooled me down. After driving for about fifteen minutes, we finally reach a subway.

And don't hate, I love my subway. I let go of Finn and hand him his helmet. I get off as he does the same. "Do you guys have subway in Australia?" I ask curious as we walk in.

"Yeah. We don't have as many as America though." He explained as we got to the line. We ordered our food and sat down at a table.

He takes a sip of his coke as he thinks for a minute. "I can tell Luke cares for you. And you care for him. Do you know why though?" He asked making conversation.

"When I first moved here, he took me in as his own and let me stay with him until I could find my own place. Plus back then, I was a very shy person." When I said that, he looked very shocked.

I couldn't help but smile at his face when he was trying to figure everything out. "You? Shy? I don't believe it." He laughed as I nodded my head.

I took a bite out of my sandwich before I could answer him. "Yup, I was really shy." Is it that hard to tell? Well damn.

"How come you were shy?" He asked the question I was hoping he wouldn't ask. But I knew I could trust Finn.

"It was after I lost Brandon, my best friend, in a car accident. I barely talked to anyone after it happened just incase." I say as his face softened.

"I'm so sorry. How long were you all friends?" He asked as I smiled. "Our whole lives. Whenever it happened, I became super depressed and shut everyone out of my life." I start to explain.

"I was too scared of getting close just in case they left me. After thinking about it, it's super sad." I sigh as I lean back in my chair. "What brought you out of that state?" He asked.

There was one word that popped into my head. And with that one word, I couldn't help but smile and get red. It's like I didn't even have to think about it.

It's like that one singular word, popped into my head when he asked. And to this day, I still don't know how he pulled me out of it when no one else could.

You know he's special when he could do something like that, in just a short amount of time too. I took a sip of my drink before answering him.

"Colby."
