"Cut it out!"

I glared at Pete before I took a huge bite of my second burger.

I was still trying to drown my embarrassment from earlier.

Hopefully, the burgers could do the trick.

We were already at the burger shop and it was almost closing time.

There were at least three tables filled and the people from that one table were starting to disperse while I still have one serving of the Lover's special I still wanted to finish.

The dish name still bothered me but I was hungry.

Pete was only picking on the fries.

"Whap?"

He asked.

Mouth full.

"If you don't want to eat then just wait in the car. I don't need a creep staring at me while I eat!"

Pete smirked at me before he took a sip of my iced tea when he's got his still full glass on that I was only left to glare at him as he shrugged.

"What is wrong with you!?!"

The jerk just shrugged again before he sat straight and regarded me.

"Did you like it?"

I furrowed my brows at him.

He's asking about the burger right?

I finished my second bun off before I replied.

He made it clear that he'd pay for everything so the least I could do was be honest.

"Okay, fine, you're right. Their burgers are amazing!"

I heard him chuckled and shook his head.

"I mean the kiss."

I gaped at Pete.

Good thing I just took a sip of my drink.

Damn!

Pete took a sip of it too.

But then again, we just kissed.

Fvck!

I emptied my glass.

"I asked you to kiss me sober and see if you like it. And you did, kiss me. Now, how was it?"

I swallowed dryly.

This time, I took Pete's drink and helped myself almost emptying the glass.

"I. I don't. I was just hungry I wasn't aware of what I did."

The hell!

I realized now, how, when it's with Pete, it's easier to just do things than actually talk about it.

"But you said you weren't hungry."

Pete said, amusement in his voice.

"I. I was lying."

Pete smirked.

"You liked the kiss."

I wet my lips.

"I don't."

Pete smiled.

"You're lying."

I blinked at him.
