Chapter 5

Aidan's POV
..... yawn, damn that was one peaceful night maybe it was the sound of the rain that made me sleep like baby, not to mention it's Saturday which is me and jacks day off I wander if she too slept like log, knowing her, she probably slept very late, well... we all did but she's later than most people mainly because of the house bills it's not really a problem considering she has more money than I do not to mention she has a big brother that most times sends money for her and Jordan, she even spares a few for me even though I told she didn't have to, being her best friend I sometimes help her when I need to, and then there's...nightmares, unlike most people, jack is usually calm waking up from nightmares, I remember this one time back in high school we had a free period so we went up the roof of the school to relax and she was tired due to studying all night, so I told her that she could sleep on my shoulder, a few minutes later she woke up as if nothing happened, but because she was so close to me, I could feel her pulse quickening not to mention she was breathing a little raggedly through her nose as if trying to calm down. I worry about her being her best friend and a caring neighbor, so I decided to check on her.
A few minutes later after I got ready for the day, I was at her front door, I was about to knock when it opens reveling Jordan giggling like a school girl he was still in his pjs which is light blue with tiny darker blue fishes  designed all over. "Hey what's so funny" I asked a little laughter in my voice,instead of answering he just pulled me from the front door closing it as we went, then through the living room up the stares and finally to the front door of jacks bedroom which was opened a bit, Jordan looked up at me and placed a finger at his lip telling me to be quiet, I nodded and as we both went inside, I was met by an adorable sight!
Jacks POV
I awoke to the sound of childlike giggles, as I opened my eyes I could see my white ceiling above me, the giggling was coming from my left so when I looked I saw Jordan, trying to keep himself from bursting into laughter but when he saw me awake he couldn't take it and exploded. "AHAHAHA HAHAHAHA HAHA!!!" I was confused as to what was funny because Aiden who was right next to him wasn't laughing at me, but with the, um.. 'Aww that's so cute kinda look'  I was about to get up when I find myself unable to, I finally understood why when I looked down at myself, covered...in kittens, here's how they're arranged: the onyx kitten is curled up in a ball on the pillow at the left side of my head, the giant blue one at my right, then we have the silver kittens head in between my...boobs... drooling... wow... any who then we have the half black half white kitten on my stomach along with the big brown one with stitched like marks, they are pretty tiny the two big ones the size of my hand then there's the orange and purple kittens both at the left side of my stomach while the all red all yellow and lastly all black with an orange touch kitten's on the right side. I gotta say they do look adorable even if one of them is a perv, I hear a snap of a camera and looked to see Aiden taking a pic of me in my state, I don't really like being in a picture and he knows that but still takes secret pics of me like a stalker even though he's gay, I let it slide since it makes him happy, and there're times I pose here and there nothing much just a peace sign and a little smile. Due to the laughter they all woke up the silver kitten cursing in cat language they all stretched got off me and onto the floor, I got up and stretched myself  yawning as I do so. Morning" I greeted, "it's twelve pm" Aiden replied "not that I blame you it is our day off after all, I would sleep forever if I had too" "but then you'd be dead" I said as I got to my closet to pick some clothes for the day a simple orange shirt with black long sleeves and dark green shorts that reach the knees I placed them on my bed, took a towel and was heading to the bathroom which was actually inside my room, the boys went downstairs to wait for me as I bathed
Akatsukis POV
Hidan: Man that was one heck of a sleep I slept like f***ing baby
Kakuzu; can't help but agree, I couldn't help but sleep on her soft stomach maybe it's because our host aura was so comfortable
Hidan; you think that was soft try her boobs it's like sleeping between two loaves of soft bread
Kakuzu: not thanks (could help but think about it though)
Kisame: not to mention we're dead, or at least were dead, we don't have to worry about killing or people trying to kill us
Konan: which reminds me (send a death glare at Tobi)
Tobi/Obito; 'gulp' runs for his life
Konan; chases after him; COME BACK HERE YOU COWERED!!!
Everyone; sweat drops;
Jack comes out of the bathroom looks at the two, thinks a little, and then walks over and stops them
Normal POV
Jack comes out of the bathroom, she first sees the purple female tackling the black with the orange touch aggressively, since they remind her of that organization she can't help but remember this one music video that showed Tobi stabbing Konan in the back, Jack didn't understand why though she didn't watch the part, as much as she loves seeing the male getting pulverized by the female she didn't want any dead carcasses around the house- not after what happened last time with an uninvited raccoon- so she pulled them apart carrying each one in both hands then puts Konan on her naked shoulder and pets the other to calm him down "as much as I'de love to see the male getting pulverized by the female-" all the kittens gets surprised by that statement-"I don't want another dead carcass around the house-" ' 'Another dead carcass?!' Jack looks at Konan, "and sorry to say but, he's too cute to die" Konan and the others felt a little jealous by that Jack laughs a little turns to them and says "I can feel your jealousy, don't worry you're all cute, you might be the cutest kittens ever" she walks over to them still in her towel and kneels down in front of them "You know I've always wanted a pet but my favorite animals are birds, but I don't mind you guys either" Jack smile at them, somehow seeing that smile has them all having a happy vibe and a cool mind, they felt overwhelmed at her smile so much so that they unconsciously went closer and rested on her, Jack continued "and if somehow you guys are who my brother said you are" this got the kittens to tense a little "I would be thrilled to have you all here to rest, you had a very cruel and very tough run even though you did horrible, horrible things there was good in you all the whole time, people just didn't see it, after seeing your deaths... I was so crushed that I cried, literally albeit secretly, other deaths of various hurt too but yours was... sigh" at this she gathers all the kittens in her arms and hugged them tight as if they were the real thing the former akatsukis themselves were surprised by that, and melted in her embrace, "if you guys were the real thing, even if you were evil.... I wouldn't hesitate to keep you as my family and protect you all, even if I have to die trying"...... there were no words to describe the feeling the former bad guys were feeling.... some of them even started to tear up namely Konan, Itachi, surprisingly Kakuzu, kisame, Nagato, Tobi, Sasori and Deidara, even jack tried to bite back tears remembering their deaths especially itachi's, his was the most crucial even though he asked for it.
(A/N: forgive me if this made 0 sense, I saw how they died and read online why most of them did what they did, I mean sure they were evil but not all of them so I... nearly cried when I typed that really)
The moment was ruined when they hear a camera go off, Jack and the kittens looks to her door to find a new face, it was Jacks older brother Markus, he was standing there smiling like there's no tomorrow with tears in his eyes, he must've heard her -to which she got a little embarrassed by but didn't show it- that he's crying a little. "Markus, what a surprise, how are you?" she asked calmly composing herself as she got up still in her towel and still holding the kittens "oh I'm fine thank you, sniff, I'm sorry that was, sniff beautiful!" He anime tears uncontrollably, the kitties sweat dropped "yeah yeah I was all touchy feely back there, would you mind getting them downstairs for me?" Jack hands them to Mark, and he gleefully accepts them his anime tears gone "Awww they're so cute!!, where did you buy them?!!" He asks a little loudly to the point that the kittens had to flatten their ears to block it out 'is Jack the only sane one in this family?' The former bad guys thought at the same time "I didn't, they were in a box at my doorstep when I got home from work yesterday" Jack replied as she got dressed, Marks back is turned so she gets her bra and matching panties that looked to be more like tights on, she's a tomboy so.... yeah "there's some left over fish from yesterday, so feed them that please, but for the black and white give him some stake...Raw" "why?" Mark asked "he loves it" she answers "I'll be down to bathe them when I'm done here" "why can't I or Jordan do it?" "You always leave the bathroom messy and Jordan doesn't know how to bath an animal, and Aidan wouldn't without wearing gloves, but I don't have those" Aiden can be quiet the clean freak when it comes to bathing animals, besides, Jack is kinda curious about something, and wanted to test it out, the former bad guys saw this and were curious to what she was planning ".... good point" and with that Mark closed the door and went downstairs.
