Markus POV
I. Am. So nervous right now. Why you ask? Well you remember Lola, the girl I bumped into while buying a mattress for my sis and her..... house..mates? I still can't believe they're here, in our world..... ugh.... anyways today Lola and I are going on a date... or at lest I think it is.... I'm not sure, any who I'm waiting for her in the back seat of a fancy restaurant, not too fancy but alright, it's been 20 minutes before she finally stepped in, and believe me when I tell you that she looks gorgeous walking in that bright red gown with matching flats, she's not the type to ware heels and I'm ok with that, I'm not the fashion type so I don't mind if she's in either foot ware
Lola; uh are you drooling? You didn't have to wait for me to order if you're that hungry
Markus; what? Oh- uh- well I-....didn't wanna start without you so uh hehe! (wipes his mouth with his sleeve 'God that was so embarrassing!!')
Lola laughs at my display as she sits down across from me, her laugh was like music to my ears, I wish I could hear that every day
Markus; you look.... stunning, I love your dress, it really brings out your eyes
Lola; oh thank you, you look incredible yourself, blue really brings out your blond hair
Usually it's the girls that get all flustered, but my god my face is on fire by that one comment.
Markus; uh yeah Erin picked the outfit for me, you remember that knuckle head?
Lola; how can I forget, how is he and our little girl lover?
Markus; lily just got engaged two months ago, Erin however... lets just say he still hasn't found his one
Lola; still going around banging people? That is so him
Markus; yeah so tell me about yourself, how have you been all the while
Lola; ugh! Where do I even begin!... well work has been, pretty stressful- oh fuck it is a disaster! I just recently, got promoted to a higher rank, and although it's a good pay it- sigh.... I just feel out off place
Markus holds her hand reassuringly; I know how you feel, I too just got promoted, but even though I have make a good example and still have to takes care of my sibling and unfortunately Erin- he lives with me btw- I tell myself that, it's all worth it well maybe not Erin he's one heck of a lazy ass
Lola: ugh, don't get me started, my kids stress me every time, even their father thought of just quitting
Wait a minute...... kids? Father? I look down at her hand and.... there was a ring on her finger. I mean yeah it's bound to happen, she's the most gorgeous woman ever..... so why do I feel..... shattered?
Lola; I mean they're just 2, sigh.... but I still love them no matter what, and you're right, it's all worth it....Markus? (Looks down) oh....
Markus; for how long?
Lola; 3 years now (she's 25 btw)..... I'm sorry
Markus; it's fine really, it's bound to happen anyways.
Normal POV
Lola knows he's hurting, she knew about his crush for her, if only her parent didn't move to California she would've given them a chance, and she's gotta admit, Markus is pretty handsome and he's always been there for her even in very bad situations like thugs wanting a piece of her, which happens almost all the time, Lola is not just beautiful, she's also very wealthy.
Lola; but hey, we could still be friends.
Markus; yeah, totally
So they went on with their.... get together and talked like just a few minutes ago never happened, and later that evening, Markus drove her home.
Lola; thanks again, I had a good time
Markus:me too
They stayed silent for a while not knowing what els to say
Markus; well I'll... be ah... taking my leave now
Lola: ok, say hi to Erin, Lilly and your siblings for me
Markus; will do
And with that, he walked away, Lola walked inside, as he walked to his car he turned to see Lola by the window, she stared back and waved, he waved too, and as he drove off he finally let a few tears slip out his eyes, he should be happy for her, but he can't help but feel heart broken, her husband is very lucky to have a gorgeous perl like her, so who is he to judge? It's her life after all, and if she's happy..... he should be as well
Markus place
Erin; oh dude you're back, so how did it go?
Markus;.... let's just say we.... caught up on some things, nothing major she says hi by the way
Erin;... dude are you ok? You sound.... bummed... what happened (silence) come on you can tell me
He finally broke down, Markus fell to his knees and cried, Erin may be an ass hole butt ever since they met he vowed to protect him due to his situation, so he hugged him... suddenly there was a knock at the door, he went over and... literally got slammed in the face as he opened it
Lilly; WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BABY!??! (Lilly Markus other worthy friend became a mother hen the moment they became friends) MARKUS HONNY, WHAS WRONG!!??
Markus: I lost her.... I.....
Lilly; shhh sh sh sh calm down first sweetheart
As soon as he calmed down, he explained what happened, being his friends (and indirectly parents) they didn't judge him, Markus has been in love with her since childhood, so they understood and comforted him until he cried himself to sleep
Lily;sorry I couldn't come home tonight babe
Ally her fiancé; it's ok, I remember my first heart break
Lilly; I still can't believe that jerk cheated on you, my word still stands, if I find him I'm gonna kill him
Ally; we talked about this it's fine really, I also know how you get whenever either of the boys get a bad time, makes me wander why you think you wouldn't be a good mother someday? Anyways, my regards and support to him, good night,  I love you
Lilly; love you too my sweet peach good night (ends the call)

Sorry it's short, it's very late here and I'm very sleepy, oh and I'll be done with this story very soon I'm still on the truth or dare based on this story
