Blind In Love

Part 1

      

It had been about a week since Marinette had
discovered that Adrien was in love with someone else. Even picturing the moment made her want to burst into tears. She had tried to uphold Tikki's advice and just be hopeful, but she miserably failed. Every day she saw Adrien was like a knife hitting her chest. She kept a positive attitude, but deep down inside she knew it was hopeless.

      *beep *beep "Marinette, your going to be late, again!" Tikki shouted at her. "Just five more minutes." She groggily mumbled and put the sheet over her head. "You said that five minutes ago!" Tikki continued jabbering Marinette, until she finally sat up. "I know Tikki, I'm just so exsausted from last nights akuma!" She turned to get out of bed and grab her clothes. "It's just not fair! Why does hawkmoth have to akumatize kids in the middle of the night?" Tikki shook her head while handing Marinette her hairbrush.
"That's his favorite time of day due to nightmares."  Marinette grabbed her backpack and looked in the mirror.

She could still remember the last night that Sandboy had been akumatized. Cat Noir had to protect her, since her powers had been taken. "What's on your mind, Marinette?" Marinette quickly blinked and realized that she had spaced

out in thought. "Oh, nothing Tikki." Tikki squinted at her suspiciously. "Is it about what Adrien said to u last week?" Marinette eyes widened at the reminder of that. She didn't want Tikki to know that she had been thinking about Cat Noir so she told her that's what it was. "Don't worry about it, everything will work out." Tikki encouraged her as Marinette gobbled down her cereal, she began questioning herself. -why was I thinking about Cat Noir? And why didn't I want Tikki to know about it?-

               ~Meanwhile at the Agreste house~
         Adrien starting brushing his teeth while Plagg gulped down another slice of camebert. "I'm so tired from last night, Plagg. At least Sandboy was a lot easier than the last time we faced him. Luckily, we didn't get blasted like last time." He spit out the water and wiped his mouth. " I wonder what your nightmare would have been this time?" Plagg replied. Adrien turned to his kwami. "What do u mean? It would have been the same as last time. You know Ladybug hating me." Plagg took a large bite. "But *chew* aren't you with *chew* kagami now?" Adrien responded rather quickly, "Of course not, Plagg. I mean I like her but not like I do Ladybug." Adrien grabbed his bag and started putting his books in.
"Well what about Marinette?"   Adrien was taken aback by this. "Marinette? Of course not she's just a friend." Adrien turned away and Plagg rolled his eyes. Clearly Adrien wasn't getting his hints. "Well what about everything that's happened between u two?" "What do u mean Plagg?" "The time she kissed
u at the wax museum, the time she kissed your cheek in the park, all the pictures she has of you.  The fact that she can barely get a sentence out around you?" Adrien was about to argue, but couldn't think of anything. -does she really have a crush on me?- "Well, what about Luka? Or the fact that she loves cat noir." Plagg shrugged. "Idk I'm a kwami not a love detective." Adrien pondered this for a moment then looked at the
clock. "Oh no! We have to get to school."
