Chapter 12

Sunday, day of audition;
11:56 a.m.

Whole hall of the building was full of people who were waiting for audition to start.
Tension was felt in the air.
Nervousness taking over them.

And there he was.
Standing in the corner, alone as he was waiting for Namjoon to get a number.
He was deadly scared.
Now that he sees how many talented people came here, he questioned himself.

Who is he compared to them?

Jungkook was trying to breathe normal.
That was little difficult for him at that moment.
But, he had no reason to be nervous.
He spended this whole week practicing with Y/n.
Yes, with her.

She was there, helping him as much as she could.
To take his nervousness away.
To tell him his mistakes and how to do them right.
He was getting much less sleep this week than he needed.
And guess who else didn't sleep because of him?
Basically, they sang and practiced day and night.
Their voices became one.

How is he supposed to sing now without her?

?:"It's gonna be okay, just do your best."
Jungkook turned his head to face a person who just said that to him.
Beside him, with his hand on Jungkooks shoulder, stood a young boy.
He didn't look like he was much older than Jungkook himself.
Boy had a comforting smile drawn on his lips.

Jungkook:"I will try. Thanks anyway."
Boys hand fell from Jungkooks shoulder down to his side.

?:"My name is Park Jimin. It's nice to meet you."
Jungkook:"Likewise. I'm Jeon Jungkook."
They did a handshake.
Jimin:"I saw that you were nervous so i decided to talk to you. I thought talk could help you."
Jungkook:"Thanks, but i don't know how much would that work."
Jimin:"Can't hurt to try, right?"
Jungkook sighned and nodded.
At that moment, one more boy appeared on their side and joined the conversation.

Namjoon:"Am I missing something?"
2 of them looked at the oldest.
Namjoon:"Hey, you are Jimin, right?"
Jimin recognised Namjoon as well.
Jimin:"The one and only. And you are Namjoon.Kim Namjoon, am i right?"
Namjoon:"Yup. That's me."
Jungkook wore a confused expession on his face.
Jungkook:"Um.. From where you two know each other?"
Namjoon:"We met just a couple minutes ago."
Jimin:"We were first two who came here for audition."

Jungkook:"Oh, well that's great."
Namjoon seemed to remembered something.
Namjoon:"Uhm...Jungkook?"
Jungkook:"Hm?"
Namjoon:"Is Y/n maybe coming?"
Younger one saddened at the thought of that.

Last night, he sended her a message asking her if she Is able to come and support him while the audition.
And, he was left without an answer.
He thought that she is maybe sleeping.
Both of them had less then 8 hours of sleep in the last 4 days.
So he somehow was happy to know she Is finally able to rest.
Well, that was what he thought.
However, she didn't answer even this morning.

For a billionth time since he got up, he checked his phone again.
Of course, no reply.
Not even a seen.

Jungkook:"Looks like she isn't."
He felt like a piece of him was missing.

Jimin:"Is Y/n your girlfriend?"
Jungkooks eyes got wide open, and his cheeks crazy pink.
Jungkook:"N-no... Just a friend."
His hyung had a look on his face Jungkook couldn't read.
Jimins eyebrow raised at the look of those two.
