My alarm went off and so did my eyes and the first thing I wanted to see is the date...and my phone showed it December 1 .
It's December at last!
I got out of bed and in for a warm shower...it's cold..cold showers will give me hypothermia. So yeah I washed my hair and everything, got into my bathrobe and my hair inside a towel and walk into my wardrobe to see what I can wear today,
Black skinnies and an oversized sweater. A pair of my Uggs, hair...hmm I'll leave it loose and a beanie for the head. Light makeup, my bag and books and I guess I'm done. I got out of my room and went down the stairs and wished my family a good morning and left the house.
Wondering why they didn't stop me for breakfast? Well nobody stops Valerie and Starbucks on the first of December.
That's where I was heading, to Starbucks....the one near my house.
I got into a almost busy yet vanilla scented shop, decorated with snowflakes all around and in the corner an adorable Christmas tree. Everybody was in the Christmas mood. I walked up to the counter and saw Susy serving one of the customers...but she noticed me
"Valerie! Happy December!" she greeted me with excitement "Happy December to you too" I wished her too with a smile
"I've got your red cup all ready for you, one medium Peppermint Mocha" she said giving me the red cup that I've been waiting since last December. I gave her the money and took the red cup, thanked her and walked out of the shop towards school.
It tasted like heaven, you have to try this out! Who would not love this amazing Mocha.
The walk to school was cold, the coffee warmed me up though. I looked into every store down the lane, all had their holiday collections out...not that it wasn't out before, but I happen to notice it because I thought of seeing it now.
I finally turned into school, got into it, climbed the stairs and reached my hallway, busy with people. I headed towards my locker. Opened it and put my bag in and then I heard Darcy announce "And the red cups are back"
"Well they do look pretty don't they" I said as I closed my locker "Where are the rest?" I asked, realizing Shelly, Tammy and Bree were not there. "Oh they're in the class, I ran in now and I happened to find you here" she said "Come on then" she said and then the two of us headed to our class.
I greeted Tammy, Bree and Shelly and sat down in front of them along with Darcy. I placed my books under the desk when I felt something, hard. I felt it and slowly removed it out....a blue gift box with a white bow.
"Someone's got an early Christmas present!" Tammy exclaimed, and then the rest of them saw the box "Now how adorable is that!" Shelly exclaimed, joining her hands together. "I hope you guys haven't put them under here" I sighed
"Why would we put them under?" Darcy asked
"I don't know, you guys do come up with weird ideas" I said, looking at the box.
"Well we didn't place it there, why don't you open it? " Bree asked "Good idea" Tammy added. I looked at the box and opened it, by pulling the ribbon loose "Would you open it already" Tammy groaned
"Hey! let her take her time" Shelly said "Besides its packed so neatly" she added.
I went along and removed the tapes on it carefuly and it led me to a box. I opened the box and in that sat a two cute little angels "Looks like you have something to be added in your christmas ornaments now" Darcy stated. I pulled an angel out, cute and perfect for Christmas
