Double Date

'So we won't be home until tomorrow morning' Mum told us 'Tomorrow!?' I exclaimed 'It's a night stay at the resort, we should be here for breakfast' Jannet said, my face was not showing any happiness..hell! I  am not happy!

'Don't worry, Ricky and Patrick will be here to care of you' Mum told me

Don't do this to me, I wouldn't mind Peter or dad staying over but please don't leave with Patrick! 

'We would have taken you but it's strictly for adults, also, its a couples retreat' Jannet spoke 'I guess I understand' I told with no choice 'You'll have fun, don't worry' mum said as she kissed my forehead and then the two ladies, joined with their men and drove away from home.

Fun it seems.

I went up into my room, I didn't want to go for the date, not when Santa just began to speak to me! I plopped on my bed wondering what should I do.

Should I tell him? What if he says no?

What do I do!

I took my phone and called up Darcy 'Hey Val, what's up?' she spoke 'I need your help and opinion' I told her 'Is everything alright?' 'I wonder if it will' I said  'Tell me' I sighed and spoke

'I have a double date with Ricky' I told her 'Let me guess, your date is Patrick?' she asked 'So that my parents don't guess about it' 'Valerie, be careful, you just got back with Santa' she told me 'I know! That's why I'm confused....should I like tell him?' I asked 'He'll be pissed, but tell him' she told me 'I should right' 'You're informing him' she told me 'Alright then, I'll do that' I said  'Good luck' Darcy said and the I disconnected the call. I went onto my messages and texted Santa

You there, I need to tell you something~Valerie

I kept staring at my phone screen, hoping that Santa does not get so mad at me

Sure am, what's wrong love?~Santa

How do I even type this thing down?

Ummm, don't get mad at me~Valerie

Valerie, what's the matter?~Santa

I have to go out on a friendly double date with Patrick along with my brother~Valerie

There, I let it out.......but no reply

I waited and waited and then came his reply

Is it a must to go?~Santa

We need to do this so that our parents doesn't get the idea that my brother has a girl~Valerie

You sure it's a friendly date?~Santa

Yes! I don't like Patrick at all! I just wanted you to know, just in case I come in the papers again~Valerie

'Valerie, you ready?' I heard Ricky yell from downstairs 'Be there in five' I yelled back.

I wore a midnight blue dress with matching heel shoes and it's required makeup. I left my hair open and the got hold of my clutch and made my way downstairs to where my brother and Patrick were waiting. I also wore my new earrings with it
