When Nagito dies, Hajime visits his grave every sunday to share news. He always plants another annual seed right next to the grave dirt, convincing himself that one day, after he passes, the flowers will take root and let Hajime find his way back to Nagito so they could be there for each other in the afterlife. Every month, he also makes their favorite dessert, eating it in front of the grave. He places a plate with a piece on the dirt, hoping that Nagito's ghost may come and eat his share. Whenever he comes back, the plate is missing, and to this day, he can't tell if it's the groundskeeper or Nagito.
