❁ this headcanon's been brought up before, but i want to make it even better!

❁ so let's just imagine that eddie is about 19 years old and learning how to be a mechanic (mostly with cars)

❁ eddie is MUSCLY as all hell

❁ and he shows it off proudly (i would too, let's not judge)

❁ he's a frickin sexy GREASE MONKEY and he knows it

❁ richard tozier is a frequent customer (which confuses eddie; how could a person need that much work on their car?)

❁ "what seems to be the problem?" "my engine broke" "your engine broke last week"

❁ the truth is, richie often purposefully causes a problem with his car just to see eddie with an excuse

❁ eventually, a new customer starts showing up; stanley uris

❁ stan also notices how hot eddie is (who wouldn't) and also frequently visits the shop

❁ he strikes up conversations with eddie about birds

❁ "did you know that birds and cars have a lot in common?" "no"

❁ stan and richie both started to run out of car excuses and instead started buying random things from the shop to make it seem less suspicious

❁ eddie notices their shenanigans and decides to mess with them a bit

❁ the next time they show up to the shop, eddie isn't wearing a tank top, he's SHIRTLESS

❁ he got baby abs and everythang ☺️✊

❁ richie nearly faints, stan nearly hides under a car

❁ so obviously, richie and stan catch on that they both have feelings for eddie (and each other, but they don't know that yet)

❁ and eddie catches on to the fact that he likes both richie and stan

❁ so stan and richie hatch a scheme to ask the cute mechanic out on a date

❁ they are both chaotic, so it's no surprise that they do this:

❁ richie pretends to slip on some oil in the shop and pretends to be injured, which causes eddie to ask if he's alright

❁ stan comes rushing over and says "we won't sue if you go on a date with us"

❁ so eddie says "you could've just asked me out, was this your best idea?"

❁ anyway, they all end up going on a date anyway and learn more about each other

❁ wow this really just turned into a streddie headcanon (i'll do another one anyway)

❁ it turns out that richie is a film major and stan is a teaching major

❁ they go on a few more dates and decide to make it official: stan, richie, and eddie all decide to become boyfriends

❁ now stan and richie can come watch eddie at work even without an excuse!
