the fates cry;
what a cruel goddess, so divine yet so bitter. a conundrum, unable to be understood. she ruled over a feeling so blindingly sweet. a feeling so powerful, it erected mountains then shook them, it created storms then killed them. this burning feeling left those vulnerable to it on their knees, feeble hands clutching their chests. until their eyes created rivers that carved canyons. this feeling created scars, canyons deep, that stuck inside their hearts like the ridges in trees. this feeling was love and this goddess was the goddess of love. how unfitting it truly was. and how this goddess loved to jest, to mess with the humans below her. cursing silly humans who felt like gods with their lovers in their arms. laughing at silly humans who tried slowing down time itself. she couldn't stand these humans, and as the cruel goddess she was, she placed a curse on a gift she craved.
