[S13] Episode 9: Overflow

"Where could he be?" asked Olivia, scanning the area for Benkei.

The whole marketplace was deserted after the stunt that Benkei had pulled earlier. Garbajo thought that Benkei must've been hiding somewhere, planning to ambush them all.

However, Harlequin was thinking of a different strategy that Benkei would plan out.

"I shouldn't have come out and revealed myself," explained Harlequin to the group, "He's probably seen me by now and is taking precautions. He knows of my ability and how my Key works, so he'll plan on eliminating me last. Be careful."

BANG BANG!

"An attack already?" yelled Harlequin, making sure to protect everyone from the bullets due to looking ahead in the future, "I didn't think he'd be so hasty! But it reveals where the attack came from!"

Benkei must've already forgotten about Harlequin's fight, aiming to complete his goal of killing each member of the Arcs.

"I'm on it!" yelled Kitsune as she ran towards where the attack came from.

However, when she arrived to the alleyway entrance, she saw three Benkei's pointing their revolvers at her.

BANG BANG BANG!

The bullets phased through Kitsune, finding out that it was her afterimage! Kitsune pounced on the Benkei's knocking them out of commission. Harlequin went over and inspected the revolvers that the Benkei's were using.

"These guns have such a slow rate of fire," analyzed Harlequin, "But they seem to pack a serious punch. How the hell did Ally withstand six of these?"

Kitsune and Harlequin looked over to find Garbajo in his Beast Form, fighting a few dimensional Benkei counterparts alongside Ikarus and Ally.

"Benkei isn't even trying to ambush us," said Harlequin, "It's just a full out war. Could he be creating some sort of distraction to escape?"

Garbajo's inner shell had cracked from one of the bullets, revealing the power that they had in them. One of the bullets even instantly broke Ikarus' automatic shields.

"Oliver, Kitsune!" yelled Olivia, blasting at the multiple dimensional counterparts, "These guys.. they just keep coming! Where are they coming from?"

Suddenly, Kitsune was ambushed by three other Benkei's behind her, shot down to the ground. Harlequin tried to help Kitsune, but he was shot in the back by another Benkei. He fell to the ground, the Benkei counterpart behind him laughing and saying:

"Ally Korblack is arriving soon. Take care of the monster and the Massacre. The angel is useless as of now. Once you take down them both down, assassinate Ally on sight!"

Harlequin immediately grabbed Kitsune and pulled her away from the Benkei's that would ambush her. He then pulled out his gun and shot the Benkei that was creeping up behind him, as well as the Benkei's that tried to ambush Kitsune. His foresight had helped them escape.

"Garbajo, Olivia!" yelled Harlequin, "Watch your backs! They're planning to take you down first!"

Garbajo and Olivia paid close attention to the battlefield, taking down all of the Benkei's that would try to kill them. Soon however, the Benkei's would overflow and surround the Arcs, backing them into the center of the marketplace. They all pointed their revolvers at them, ready to shoot.

360° KENPACHIZOROKENSHIN!!!

The Benkei's were slashed away by Ally's gigantic Arc Sword, letting the Arcs take a breather. However, Ally began to cough up blood.

"Ally!" warned Kitsune, "I told you not to strain yourself so much! You're still wounded!"

"It's alright," smiled Ally, "I've got another technique up my sleeve."

NON STRAINING STYLE KENPACHIZOROKENSHIN!!!

Ally quickly ran up to the Benkei counterparts, and instead of slashing at them with his sword, he used the handle of his blade to shift the force onto his elbows. This effectively allowed him to pull enough force to knock out the Benkei's with as little strain as possible.

"Does he just come up with those names on the spot?" asked Harlequin, unamused.

"He's just as dumb as Ikarus.." hazily commented Kitsune as she fought alongside Ally, "But he's definitely got the spirit!"

The Arcs fought against the Benkei counterparts, making sure to knock them down before they could even shoot. Soon, their numbers were decreasing. Some had ordered for a strategic retreat, but most were focused on accomplishing their goal.

"Like I said," said Harlequin as he kicked down a Benkei, "He's just a normal human with the ability to clone himself. When you get past that, taking him down is easy."

However, the Arcs were all ambushed by the a multitude of Benkei's that were hiding in the alleyways. The decreasing numbers were just a ruse! They pointed their revolvers at the Arcs, readying to shoot.

SLASH SLASH!

The Benkei's were surprised to find out that the snout of their revolvers were cut off, preventing them from shooting.

"Sorry I was late," said Banzai, sharpening her claws from cutting off the revolvers, "I had to think about something really important."
