"It's gonna start pouring soon, we should be at the mall or watching a movie or something. Besides Clove should be resting" Max said as the three girls walked down the side walk

"I'm fine Max" Clove sighed while El stopped them

"You don't believe me?" she asked the redhead

"I believe you saw some super weird stuff totally, but you said Mike and Clove have sensed you in there before right? So maybe it was just like that, maybe Billy sensed you somehow" Max tried to talk the skinny girl out of it

"But the screams" El piped in

"Yeah I know but here's the thing, when Billy is alone with a girl they make like really crazy noises" Max said as Clovers eyes widened and tried to motioned for Max to stop talking where El couldn't see her

"They scream?" El asked with frowned eyebrows

"Yeah but like happy screams" Max said to her as El was still confused

"Max, no. No, we are not getting into this right now" Clove scolded her with crazy eyes

"Happy screams? What is happy screams?" El asked them

"Nothing, nothing, El let's not talk about it" Clove said as she sighed but began to feel uneasy for a second there as she gave a weird look and rubbed her arm

"What is it?" Max asked her conserned

"Something is wrong, I can feel it" Clove said as she turned and looked at the house

"What? How? El got that thing out of you" Max said as she grabbed her arm

"I did" El nodded her head

"I know, but I can feel something. Not like before, this is different. We need to go in there, something is off" Clove said as she looked to El who nodded

"You two sure you wanna do this?" Max asked them as El nodded. After walking into Max's house, going straight to Billy's room

"Why do I get the feelings we're gonna find all kinds of wrong in here?" Max asked while the girls all looked around

"Wow, he's got the typical boy room" Clove rolled her eyes while looking at the dirty clothes and half naked pictures on his wall

"Ugh, gag me with a spoon" Max said as she slammed the drawer back

"A spoon?" Clove asked her with a small laugh as El grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the bathroom with Max following close by

"Clove, Max" El said as she looked into the bathtub

"Ice" Max told her while pulling out one of the bags that were all melted now

"It's probably just for his muscles, he works out like a maniac" Max said as El continued to look down at the tub

"Guys" Clove said as she slapped Max's arm gently as they all looked over to see Clove looking down at some blood on the cabinet. El rushed over and pulled the small doors open

"El what is it?" Max asked confused as El pulled out a small life guard fanny pack out of a plastic box before they quickly pulled on rain coats and rushed to the pool in the pouring rain

"Excuse me?" Max asked the teens sitting in the office

"No one in the pool until thirty minutes after the last strike, and don't try and argue with me. You wanna get electrocuted? Go climb a tree" he said to them in a annoyed tone

"Pardon?" Clove asked with a roll of her eyes

"Yeah we don't care, we're not here to swim" Max sassed him

"We found this" El said as she held up the fanny pack they found in Billy's bathroom

"I'm sure it belongs to someone here" Clove nodded as she eyed the guy who narrowed his eyes

"Oh yeah, that's Heathers. I'll get it back to her" he nodded before El jumped in

"We could give it back to her" the girl said as Clove swallowed and dodged the suspicious looks

"You could, accept she's not here. Bailed on me today" he rolled his eyes while looking back down at the newspaper before looking back up a few seconds later seeings as they were no longer there

"What is this? You girls want a reward or something?" he asked them

"Not a award" Clove said with a blink as Max elbowed her

"No, we're just good samaritans" Max added in with a sweet smile before the two girlfriends followed El toward where the brunette was walking to the small boarded with flyers and pictures scattered on it

"Heather" Max said as they saw the picture of the girl smiling

"She's pretty" Clove shrugged while Max gave her a look, causing the girl to hold her hands up in surrender, "I'm just saying."

"Do you think you can find her?" Max asked as El quickly pulled the small paper off the board before a familiar voice yelled out

"Clove!" Stella shouted as she walked under the shaded area, closing her umbrella

"I'll catch up with you guys" Clove said to Max who nodded and ran off

"Clove, do you have any idea how worried I am when I walk into your room and you aren't there? Especially with what happened to you just a few hours ago" Stella scolded her in a whisper

"I needed to help my friends Mom. What is it?" Clove asked her

"You need to get home, this.. all this is still dangerous. You had a living creature inside your arm for heaven sakes" Stella said while she looked down at the girl, clearly angry

"And El got it out, i'm fine!" Clove said in a angry tone to match her mothers, even though she knew her statement was a lie

"Fine? You think that's fine? I know you Clove, I know you better then you think I do and I can tell you aren't fine" Stella said with a scoff

"What do you want me to say Mom? That i'm completely fine, that i'll stay home until I feel okay again?I'm not fine. I fought off a monster before I was even in eighth grade, I thought my best friend died but instead he was just taken into a while different dimension, I thought you were dead, I wake up ever day and dial El's number right away to make sure she didn't leave us again, I'm scared something could happen to Max, I'm worried about Will, Mike is holding stuff over my head, And you. You're constantly trying to keep me trapped at home." Clove spoke to her Mom as the strawberry blonde said nothing for a few seconds

"Clove that's not fair... I missed a whole year of your life" Stella said to her Daughter who simple blew her cheeks in air

"Wow are you okay?" Max asked while hurrying to give her a hug

"I'm okay" Clove nodded as they pulled apart, Max gave a worried look

"El? Are you okay?" Clove asked while rushing toward the girl, who was still trying to catch her breath on the ground, Max following to inform her what happened
