"You guys got her?" Clove asked while  opening the car door for Max and Mike to put the hurt girl in

"Thanks Clove" Mike said with a nod as Clove and Max made eye contact before looking away. They all climbed in the car, Clove sat with Lucas and Will considering Max climbed in the back with Mike and El

"What's wrong?" Jonathan asked after Nancy tried to start the car

"I-I don't know" Nancy said while trying to start the car again

"Didn't your Mom just buy this car?" Lucas asked

"Yes, i'm sure it's fine" Nancy said

"Did you leave the lights on?" Will asked her

"No!" Nancy yelled

"Do we have gas?" Lucas asked

"Guys!" Clove yelled at them as Nancy continued to try and get the car started

"Wow! Wow! Stop, pop the trunk" Jonathan said while getting out the car. Clove glanced back at Max with sad eyes but looked away the second her blue eyes met dark brown

"You think-" Clove began but was cut off by a loud car engine a few feet away from them. It was Billy's car

"Oh god" Max said as Nancy opened the door

"Back in the mall!" she yelled while they all climbed out. When they got back in, Mike tried to contact Dustin while everyone looked around for anything useful

"Hey.. Max?" Clove asked quietly while approached her

"Hey" Max said awkwardly

"I just, I just wanted to say i'm sorry... for making you feel that way or anything. I know i'm always really flirty with like everyone and maybe that makes me a bad person... i'm just not use to this whole dating thing. And that's definitely not a excuse but in all honesty... before you came around, no one knew I was gay so now that they do know... it's like all I wanna do is prove that I am now, making all these gay jokes with so many girls is kinda my way at showing that. It's wrong and i'm gonna stop because you're my number one person in the world and I don't wanna lose you over just trying to prove a point that I shouldn't have to prove" Clove said as Max stared at her for a moment longer

"I get it, i'm not mad" Max said whils grabbing her hand

"You should be, i'm a horrible girlfriend" Clove said as Max smiled while wrapping her arms around Cloves waist and pulling her close

"You're not a horrible girlfriend, we're just still learning. Sooner or later we're gonna be like professional girlfriends" Max said making Clove laugh and put her head on her beating chest while they hugged

"We just need the ignition cable" Was the first thing the pair heard while walking toward Nancy and Jonathan. The group all got behind the car that El threw across the mall and tried to push

"Mike this isn't working" Clove groaned as they dropped the barely moved car

"Let me try" El spoke up

"El no" Clove pointed a finger at her

"I can do it" El spoke as Clove sighed

"Just... don't use to much okay? You're already hurt" she told her as El nodded. The group all moved across the room as El slowly tried to move the car, they watched her with worry in their eyes but she failed due to her powers being weak

"Push" Jonathan said as they all once again tried to move the car but this time with metal poles

"Alright good, now the other way" Jonathan said as they all started to push again making it fall over. Clove dropped the pole and cheered
