I know you hate silence
Because it showers on you pain
And 'reminds you of those things
That you wish to hide in the folds of your brainI know you hate silence
Because it unleashes your madness and confusion
And those unsorted thoughts and undealt emotions.
That haven't yet found their conclusion.I know you hate silence
Because it doesn't help you drown the voices in your head
Your mind resurfaces every thought
And you just lie, sick in bedI know you hate silence
Because it makes you feel empty
And you know it doesn't keep you away from melodrama
For it has it's own in plentyI know you hate silence
Because in silence you hear only yourself
And somehow you don't land
In your own upper shelfI know you hate silence
Because it brings you to a halt
And tries to convince to you
It was all your faultI know you hate silence
Because it's a powerful scream
One that is loud and deafening
Enough to wake you from your wildest dreamI know you hate silence
But that's because of what you don't realize
Life is loud and nature isn't quiet
You'll need hushed time, to figure the fire in your eyesI know you hate silence
But isn't it sometimes freedom
Because trying to explain people who don't want to understand
Is like explaining a soldier treasonI know you hate silence
But sometimes isn't it nice
To bleed and bloom in the quiet
And build empires without a priceSilence can be beautiful
Like when it fills blanks when words aren't enough
In a nutshell, silence is scary and important
And to call it vague, is a bluff.
