Chapter Three!

Behir get busy in playing with each other but suddenly they see a girl, fully dressed in a beautiful red lehenga and jewellery, taken to the alter where a guy is sitting and doing some prayers to fire. They too go there and observe all the marriage rituals silently. They don't utter a word but they both are really young to understand the meaning of all these marriage vows and rituals.

Behir become completely silent on seeing them and are really surprised with what all they witnessed.

Bela: Mahi, tum jante ho ye shadi kya hota hai aur kyu?

Mahir: Nahi Sona! Mai nahi janta. Kya tum janti ho?

Bela: No Mahi! Mai bhi nahi janti hu. Aaj ghar me poochte hai.

Mahir: Ok Sona!

Behir silently have their food and go back to their respective homes with their parents. Their parents observe how silent they became. Next day, Behir come back home from school. Mahir and Sumitra go to Bela's home so that Aditi and Sumitra can chit chat while Behir will play.

Mahir: Sona tumne aunty se poocha?

Bela: Nahi Mahi... Maine abhi tak nahi poocha.

Aditi: Kya poochna hai Bela?

Sumitra: Haa Mahir... Aisa kya poochna tha Bela ko?

Behir: Maa log shaadi kyu karte hai?

Sumitra and Aditi look at each other and smile. They take Mahir and Bela respectively in their lap and explain.

Aditi: Shaadi ek bahut hi pure and sacred relationship hota hai jahan two families ek family ban jaate hai aur jaha ek ladka aur ek ladki hamesha hamesha ke lie ek sath rehne ki promise karte hai.

Bela: Ladka ladki ek sath kyu rahenge?

Sumitra: Tum apne ghar me hi dekho, tumhare mom aur papa ki shaadi hui thi aur meri aur tumhare uncle ki shaadi hui thi jahan hamne ek dusre se waada kiya tha ki ham hamesha ke lie sath rahenge. Kyunki mom dad apne bacche ka khayal sirf ek age tak rakh sakte hai lekin uske bad bacche bade ho jate hai toh unhe apna khayal rakhne ke lie ek friend ki zarurat hai. Jab wo friend mil jate hai toh shaadi kar lete hai.

Mahir: Mamma friend se hi shaadi karte hai.

Sumitra: Haa lekin wo friend tumhare mumma papa ko bhi pasand hona chahiye aur uss friend ke mamma papa ko bhi tum pasand honi chahiye.

Bela: Ooooo.

Aditi: Samajh me aaya? Ya aur koi doubt?

Bela: Mamma dulhan utna zyada jewellery kyu pehenti hai?

Aditi: Khubsurat dikhne, bas.

Bela: Bas? Wo kitni bewakoof hai. Aapko aur aunty ko khubsurat dikhne ke lie jewellery ki zarurat hi nahi hai.

Aditi and Sumitra smile hearing it. Sumitra kisses on Bela's forehead and says, "Isiliye mujhe Bela bahut pasand hai."

Aditi: Aur mujhe Mahir... Dono kitne pyare bacche hai. Thode bahut shararati karte hai magar kitne acche bacche hai!

Sumitra: Haa Aditi, tumne sahi kaha.

Behir: humari bhi shaadi hogi?

Aditi: haan bache bhi to kabhi na kabhi shaadi krte hai. Tum bhi ek din ese dulhan banogi or apne special friend se shaadi karogi.

Just then a song plays "mahi ve!"

Mahi meno chadeyo na k tere bin din nahiyo lagda.

Jithe wich chalna haye mahi me tere peeche peeche chalna.

Bela: mama ye mahi Q bol rahe hai song me.

Aditi: bcoz Mahi.....ummm Mahi jisse ek larki pyar krti hai wo uska Mahi hota hah. Jese dulhan ka dulha uska Mahi hota hai.

Bela: or pyar kia hota hai.

Sumi: pyar! Pyar bhot cute hota hai.

Bela: mujhe dikhao na.(Mahir is hearing every word so seriously)

Sumi: usko hum dekh nh skte. Wo sirf feel kia ja skta hai like aapki mama aapse kitna pyar krti hain to wo pyar dikhta hai nahi na wo sirf feel kr skte hain. Kisi ki care krna uska khayal rakhna pyar hota hai.

Bela: Shaadi me pyar bhi hota hai.

Sumi: haan! Shaadi me bhi bhot pyar hota hai.

Mahir: Mumma mujhe bhi Shaadi krni hogi.

Aditi: shaadi to sab ki hoti hai tum dono ki bhi hogi (just a formal dialogue).

Mahir: Humari shaadi wow phir humare baby bhi hoga.

Sumi: Aditi ab zyada ho raha hai.

Aditi laughs and says " beta itna mat socho. Aaj nh to kal, kal nh to parso tumhari bhi shaadi hogi."

Bela: parso!

Aditi: Sumi in ke to sawal khatam nh hote. 😂

Sumi: beta tum dono jao or khelo.

Behir nodded and left!

Bela: Mahi... Tum mujhse shaadi karoge?

Mahir: Haa Sona... Mai tumse pyar karta hu tumhara khyal rakhta hu toh mai tumse hi shaadi karunga!

Behir hug each other happily. They play together and feed each other food.
