Chapter 9

(Y/n) was walking silently as she was suddenly shy because of last night.
Inuyasha was smirking at that.
The others were confused.
"(Y/n)-chan, you are really quiet
today," Sango said and (Y/n) blushed as she stopped walking and laughed nervously.

"Y-you too?" she said, laughing nervously.
"Is there something wrong?"Shippo asked, jumping onto her shoulder.
(Y/n) smiled at him.
"Everything is ok, Shippo-chan, it's just
that..."(Y/n) said as she glanced at Inuyasha who smirked even more.
She blushed and looked away again.

"What's wrong? Inuyasha, why are you smiling like that?"Shippo asked curious.
Inuyasha shrugged.
"Suspicious..."Miroku said and both Inuyasha and (Y/n) blushed.

Just then, Inuyasha sniffed in the air.
"Oh, great," he said as he scoffed.
"What's wrong?" Sango asked.
(Y/n) smiled and turned around when she started sensing the aura that almost similar to hers.

Then, Sesshomaru appeared in front of them.
"Hehh...Fluffy is here!"(Y/n) said, back to her normal self.
Inuyasha soffed, smirking at the name while Sesshomaru growled.

"Humph. I was wondering who Inuyasha ended up with...turns out. It was
you," he said, calmly as the wind blew.
(Y/n) smiled as she put a hand on her waist.
"Why? Sesshomaru, icy as ever, huh? But, I am honored that you remember me"she said, cheerfully.
"Who is it?" Kohaku whispered to Sango.
"Inuyasha's big brother,"Miroku answered and Kohaku made an 'ohh..." expression.

"So...you must've already known that we are looking for you,"(Y/n) said.
"I have no intention to join or team up
with you to destroy Naraku," Sesshomaru said.

(Y/n) smiled as her eyes met with Sesshomaru's cold icy ones.

"Sesshomaru, I am not commanding you. I am just offering you a hand. If you work with me, the faster we can find Naraku and destroy him,"(Y/n) said calmly as she and Sesshomaru stared each other in eye and eye for a minute.

Her eyes flashed red and Sesshomaru smirked.
"Not bad. You are equally match with me. Inuyasha, you made the right decision," he said and our gang went surprised.
"Wait here," Sesshomaru said and started walking away.

(Y/n) smiled in amuse.
"Heh...he has a human girl by his side, huh?" she said.
"Yea, although we have no idea how that happened,"Inuyasha said, standing beside her.
"So...is he joining us?" Shippo asked.

"Yep,"(Y/n) said, smiling happily.
Inuyasha rolled his eyes as he sat down on a nearby rock.
"Inuyasha, come on. I am sure we are going to get along with him just fine,"(Y/n) said as she hugged Inuyasha from behind.

"Yea.Yea.Whatever,"Inuyasha said, grumpily while (Y/n) giggled and patted his head, still hugging him.

"(Y/n)-chan, how did you convince
Sesshomaru to join us?" Sango asked as she and the others also sat down to wait for Sesshomaru to return with his gang.
"Well...we just had an mind battle. That's all,"(Y/n) said.

"Mind battle?" Kohaku asked.
"Mind battle is a battle we have in our
mind between demons. Looking into your opponent's eyes and focus on them. In other words, it's the competition of auras. The one with the stronger aura wins,"(Y/n) explained.
"Heh...I've never heard of that before," Kohaku said.
"Me too," Sango said.

"But, the good thing is we have more allies on our side. I am glad we met you just in time for that,"Miroku said.
"Thanks!"(Y/n) said as she pulled herself away from Inuyasha.

"Well...let's finish Naraku off and enjoy our lives,"Inuyasha said.
"Yea!"

Suddenly,(Y/n) screamed with a shock expression on her face.
"(Y/n)?!"
