Andrea

Two days later
New York, New York
4:00 p.m.

I sat down on the couch as Dave did a verse on his other song. I was trying to come up with a chorus to the song we doing together. I thought I was gonna be do this with no issues but I'm struggling and shit. It's been a minute since I did music I probably don't even know how to read.

I shook my head and laughed at my thoughts "what the fuck is wrong with me?"

"Ight that's good" james said

James is a dude we been knowing since we was little. He been producing Dave music for years now. That nigga really dope with this music shit.

Dave got out the booth and sat down on the couch.

"you got something?"

I shook my head "nah"

"like nothing?"

"I got something in my notes I did the other day but it won't go good with this beat"

"Ight let's try another one then. Yo J play that 'perfect' beat."

James nodded and soon the beat came on. The shit was fire.

"alright ima go in and try it"

I got up off the couch and walked into the booth. I put the studio headphones in, he played the beat.

Oh, we ain't friends no more?
Why you won't listen no more?
Damn, I let a good girl go
Away, away, away, I've been
All around the world
And I've been looking for you, searching
You deserve it 'cause you're perfect

Baby, baby, yeah, you perfect
Gotta compliment your tits (yeah, yeah)
All that ass up, love how you twerk it
Can you do that on the dick? (Can you?)
Don't be shy, no, up and down (nah)
You know what it is (yeah, yeah)
Concentrate, baby, get it, get it
And bring that ass right here (right here, right here)
Ooh, I'ma go down, I'ma go down (I'ma go down)
Ooh, I'm doin' freaky shit 'cause ain't nobody 'round (nobody)
And don't be actin' fake when you see me out
You don't wanna hear me out, how you gonna play me out? Why? Why?

I took off the headphones and walked out.

"how that was?"

"that shit was fire bro. You think India gonna like it?"

"Shit she better, I was over there struggling and slaving for a bar"

James laughed as Dave walked into the booth and rapped his verses.

A hour later we finished up the song and James did his touch on it until it was ready to drop.

"so when you want this dropped?" James asked Dave

"uh we can drop it tomorrow. Just call me and let me know when you about to do it"

"Alright. Y'all should do a video too, the song already gonna be a hit"

"What chu think?" Dave asked me

I shrugged "it don't matter to me"

"alright we gonna do a video next week"
