It's been a year.

A year without my parents.

And,

Jungkook.

I admit that,

there's still a space in my heart,

for him.

"Hello Y/N"

I snapped out of my thoughts as Kuanlin hit my backpack. I was staring blankly at the letter.

The letter.

I seriously had no idea who gave it.

But the handwriting, I think I saw that somewhere.

It couldn't be Jungkook. He know nothing.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Uh no, nothing"

"Let's go"

We headed to the cafe. Kuanlin had been my one and only best friend here. I do have lots of friends but he is the closest as he's my tablemate.

Jungkook was my tablemate.

I feel comfortable being around Kuanlin and I'm pretty sure he feels the same. Even Namjoon is close to him.

We took our seat and started enjoying our food. I brought sandwiches while he ate tteokbokki.

"Open your mouth aaa"

"Your mommy made this? Daebakkk"

"She said you can come whenever you want, she'll cook" He said with a full mouth.

"I'll come"

"Wait" He said, wiping his mouth with a tissue.

"You got partner for prom yet?" He asked.

I shook my head. I never cared.

I packed my things then waited for Kuanlin.

"Bye bye Y/N!" Sehun, the school's idol shouted from the door.

I just waved him a good-bye.

"See you tomorrow Y/N!" Sana who was passing by yelled.

"See ya!"

"Anyyeong Kuanlin oppa~" The figure was pulled by Sana and she mouthed 'sorry'.

I smiled.

"Who was it?" Kuanlin asked.

"Who"

"The one who called me oppa"

"Oh, it's Dahyun"

"Geez" He made that annoying face.

I knew he didn't like Dahyun.

"Give her a chance" I giggled.

"What! No!"

"She's cute what" I added.

"No one is cuter than you. Periodt"

And with that, I shut my mouth.

"Let's go to my house cause you need to accompany me." He demanded.

I stayed still. Looking at him, seeking an explanation.

"To buy a new tux for prom. Don't give me that look."
