"I want a tattoo." I randomly said as Liam was driving me to school. Liam and Damon came to an agreement, that Liam would drive me to school and Damon would drive me home. They're dramatic in my opinion.

Liam looked over at me and grinned. "You should get one on your butt."

"Definitely not. I'm getting one on my collarbone."

        He nodded. "What of?"

        "A quote."

"What quote?"

"Love is great when you find someone to give it to."

He looked over at me, and I pushed his head back to the road. "You've never loved anyone?"

I shrugged. "My brother."

        "Your parents...?"

My voice turned cold. "I didn't even know them. They left me with my brother when he was 13. Fucking 13."

Liam was quiet the rest of the way to school.

                                           ~

"Guys listen up! Today we are going to partner up and do a series of exercises. You may pick your partner now, it can be co-ed." Our gym teacher said.

I looked at Damon at the same time he looked at me. I raised my eyebrows and he nodded. I walked over to him as I heard some random girl ask him to be her partner. He shook his head no and looked at me. She turned to me as I got to Damon and sneered. I raised my eyebrows again.

"Trying to get something out of your teeth?" I asked as she started licking her top row of teeth, trying to seem intimidating. It didn't work as she looked like a really innocent little girl. She had pale skin, freckles, brown hair and green eyes. She was really short, about 5'0, and a literal stick.

She flushed and walked away. I looked at Damon and he was trying hard not to laugh.

"Shut it." I snapped at him.

"You just told off the most 'popular' girl here." He said, using air quotes.

"And do I give a shit? No." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him to where everyone else was.

                                          ~

"Woah, look at you looking cute." Ryder said as he walked up to me at the end of the day.

I rolled my eyes, he can be such a girl sometimes. I was wearing ripped light blue jeans, a white strapless crop top, grey cardigan, and white converse.
( a/n: i could barely describe it so there's a picture below )

I winked at him and posed as he pretended to take pictures of me

I winked at him and posed as he pretended to take pictures of me. I've gotten really close to Ryder, and I can honestly say he acts like a 3 year old.

"Have you seen Damon? He's supposed to drive me home and I can't find him?"

        "Nope, sorry though."

I sighed and left, trying to find him.

I finally found Damon in the library of all places. He was in an aisle, looking at the back of a book.

"What you doing?" I asked him loudly.

He jumped, dropping the book, then cussing when he saw me. "What the fuck Scar!?"

I laughed. "I'm sorry I had to do it." I said and sidled up next to him. "Besides, you're driving me home."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

I snorted. "Well, I love that I'm forgettable."

"Oh shut it."

"Oh, we need to go to a tattoo parlor." I said.

He cocked his head. "Why?"

"Because I want to adopt a dog." I rolled my eyes. "I want to get a tattoo dipshit."

"Ah. Let's go."

~

"What do you want?" The tattoo artist said as we stepped in the dark room.

"I want a quote on my collarbone, a rose in between my fingers, and initials on my wrist." I told him, cliche but oh well.

He looked up at me and gulped. He wasn't ugly at all actually, he was in his mid-twenties, blond hair and caramel brown eyes.

"You can get in the seat. I'm Hunter by the way." He said to me, looking me up and down.

Damon mumbled something that I couldn't hear, and he grabbed me by my hips, crushing me to his side as he led me to the chair. As we passed Hunter, Damon mumbled something in his ear, making Hunter pale.
I sat down in the chair and waited for Hunter to bring the ink.

~

"How's it feeling?" Damon asked as we were now on our way to my house after getting ice creams when my tattoos were done.

"Pretty good actually." I gently touched the paper towel that Hunter put on my collarbone after the tattoo so it didn't get infected. He put it on my finger and wrist too.

"We're here." I hugged Damon bye, got out of the car, and walked inside.

The first thing I see is Jaxon pacing around the living room, and looks up at me when I got in.

"Hey..." I said to him, confused by his nervousness.

"Hey." He looked down at the paper on my neck and grinned. "You got yourself a tattoo. I am proud to call you my sister." I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you antsy?"

His grin turned into a frown. "Uh, I've got news and I don't know how you'll take it."

I frowned. "What?"

He took a deep breath. "I found her."

My breath caught in my throat. "Where?" I asked, my voice suddenly hoarse.

"Somewhere in Indiana." He replied.

Fuck. We lived in California, it's have to be a fucking road trip to get there.

"I'm going to get her." I said, determination in my voice.

He nodded. "Of course, but i'm going with you. But you should know, it's not a good place, it's really poor and..."

A tear escaped my eye and I wiped it off fiercely. "I'm going."

He wrapped me up in my arms. "I'm going with you."
