CHAPTER 1

Rose p.o.v

I was reading a book in my room when I heard someone knock on my door ....."come in" I said while taking my glasses off.

"Mam sir is asking for your presence," Linda said.

" Linda, I told you many times don't call me mam.. its awkward just call me rose". I said while moving toward her.

" OK rose". she said. see it's not difficult, is it? I said while moving toward the door. oh, I forget to introduce myself...

 My name is Rose Night. I'm 16 years old and going to be 17 in a few days. My parents never let me go outside, I don't know why but whenever I ask them.

They said that my life is in danger so I can't go outside. I only have 1 friend which knows everything about me.

 She is the daughter of Dad's friend which is also the reason she is my friend otherwise dad never allows someone to come near me.

Sometimes, I feel lonely but then I busy myself with books. I love to read books because it removes my loneliness.

After reaching downstairs, I heard my Mom is arguing with my dad. It was the first time, I hear them arguing like that.

I enter the living room. "Yes, Dad,"  I asked. "Come here and eat then we have something to discuss". Dad said rather in a serious tone.

"Why, what happened, what do you want to talk about? I asked curiously.

"FIRST eat then we talk" Dad again said in a serious tone leaving no space for argument. "ok dad," I said while rolling my eyes.

"First correct your behavior toward your dad lady," Dad said in a harsh tone.

 damn! I'm screwed...why can't I control my tongue, I thought. "Zander" Mom whispered while putting her hand in dad's hands.

"OK Daddy"..... I said.

A few minutes later.........

Throughout the whole time, I was thinking about what dad wanted to talk about......

After eating " Now tell me dad what do you want to talk about?" I said.

" Tomorrow you are going to meet your fiance". dad said. "WHAT!"  me and Mom yelled.

" B-But why dad.... why all of sudden, I'm only 16". I said angrily. I want to cry but I'm holding myself.

"Rose my dear, you are already bound to someone forcefully and this is the only way to save you from that relationship," Dad said softly.

" Shhh.... my baby everything will be alright, we are here with you, you don't have to be scared". Mom said while patting my head trying to calm me down.

"B-But w-why Mom why me?" I said while crying this time. "We don't know rose, we don't know".... Mom said while dad is continuously looking at me.

I don't know when I sleep in my mother's arms...but I only know that my life is going to change completely.......

I wake up to the noise of shouting, I look around and see that now I'm in my room. I moved downstairs to check what these noises were all about. I see a handsome guy sitting in a wheelchair in our living room.

"what going on and who is this guy? "I ask in dominating tone trying hard not to show my fear.

When I look at the guy, I saw that he was staring at me with a hard face. He must be around 26 years old with quite a muscular body and sharp features......

Damn, he is so handsome I thought. Ughhhh... Rose what are you thinking. "It's not the time for this so concentrate," I said to myself.

After talking with myself, I didn't notice that he moved toward me. I backed away." W- what are you doing?" I scarily said.

Suddenly, he grab my hand and put me on his lap and hardly kissed me, I try to push but he was very strong .....after a few minutes, I hear Mom's voice.

" Hey, leave my daughter you bastard". Mom said while moving toward me. As I see Mom I again push him with all my might and this time I succeed,

 I hurriedly moved toward my Mom......I'm shivering badly because of fear ......Mom put her hand on me trying to calm me.

"How are you mother-in-law?" The guy said while smirking at me. I heard my mother say, "Oh no"...... I look at my mother confusingly.

 Did she know him? I thought. " Mom who is this guy?". I ask curiously while looking toward my Mom and then at the man.

Mom is looking at me with sad eyes....".can someone tell me what going on here?" I said irritatingly.

" Ohh...so they didn't tell you who I am?" this time the guy said while mockingly looking at my mother.

I look towards my Mom trying to figure out what he means that my parents did not tell me what?

" So let me introduce myself,  I'm your husband," He said in a calm voice that it's not a big thing.

 "WHAT!" I yelled. I look towards my Mom to see if that was the truth but she was looking at me with apologetic eyes." Mom is that true?" I ask again, maybe that's a lie. I thought.

"MOM! tell me" I yelled while crying." Sorry, my baby but we do-" I cut her. "ENOUGH! " I yelled while pulling my hair "ENOUGH! "

I don't know when I faint but I see the worried eyes expression in his eyes............
