Kai's POV

What happened the other day, the moment when I roared, it just keeps going through my heard. i needed to ask my dad what happened. I looked around and saw him at the tree of life, so i walked up to him

"uh dad' i asked

"what is it kai' asked my father

"so can I talk to you about something'

"sure"

'so um...the other day I did....a-a roar but it'

"was different'

"y-yeah how did you know"

"well answer this, were there a bunch of lions roaring with you"

"yeah, how do you know"

"well kai, that special roar, I also have'

'what, really"

"yeah, i got it around your age also"

"so how come i never see you use it"

"I actually did use it once when you were little, but since there is peace, i never had the need to use it"

"oh'

'so kai"

"yeah dad"

"how exactly did you find out you had the roar"

"well uhh....i was hanging out with a friend and we were attacked"

"attacked'

"I couldn't get to you so I tried to fight him off and thats when i roared'

"which friend were you hanging out with"

"uhh, why do you want to know who she is"

"its a she"

"uh"

"alright, i wont push you, but I did fall in love with you mom before I knew what love was"

"thanks dad'

"alright, but when you tell her, make sure its on a night while the moon is full"

"why exactly"

"thats how it was when i told your mother how I felt"

"ok"

"And tomorrow I will tell you more about the roar"

I walked off, curious about my roar, but my dad will tell me.

Nya's POV

On my way to hang out with Jacob, a female Lion cub with a few strands of hair on top of her head walked up to me.

"hey, uh are you Nya"

"yeah, who are you"

"i'm skylor, i know your brother kai"

"oh your are the girl he hangs out with'

'uh yeah so I want to know a few things about him'

"why are you asking"

"well...uhh"

Why was she acting weird, why is she interested in Kai in general

"you can tell me, I promise i wont tell anyone"

"Promise"

"so I uhh....Kinda have a crush on your brother"

"really"

"yeah, he is sweet, kind, and is funny when he acts all cocky, and he saved me the other day"

"really"

We talked for a while, i still can't believe a girl has fallen for Kai, but then i realized that I was late for meeting with Jacob, i said goodbye and ran off, when I got to our meeting spot jacob was still there,

"hey, where were you"

'sorry, i was talking to someone'

"oh, alright, what about'

"she had a crush on Kai, so she wanted to know more about him'

"Oh, alright"

We talked for a while and the sun was setting, Jacob looked so handsome, I couldn't take my eyes off of him, at this point I didn't care that he was a cheetah and I'm a lion, I know i love him.

"so uh, d-do you like anyone" he asked

"um, maybe'

"oh alright" he looked a bit upset from my answer

"do you like anyone" i asked 

"uhh, yeah, yeah I do like this girl"

"tell me about her"

"well she is pretty and smart, kind and is really smart and i love it when i'm around her'

"really, who is she"

"uhh,i-its......you, i-i like you Nya"he said, but before I could react, he kissed me. But right after he pulled from out kiss

"i-i'm sorry" he said as he ran off

"JACOB, WAIT" I yelled but he was already gone

Jacob likes me but I couldn't tell him I felt the same way, i walked off to think on what to tell him. I eventually did walk home and I saw mom, dad, and Kai standing there. When i saw Kai standing there smiling, I knew he had something to do with this.

"Nya, we need to talk" said my father
