The Truth

Nya's POV

I stood there in fear when my dad said He wanted to talk. I know this is Kai's doing so I'm going to kill him later. But the problem now was what my parents were about to talk about. My dad told Kai to run off and it was just me, mom, and dad.

"so Nya, Kai told us he saw you with Jacob"said my father

"w-well yeah, I hang out with him every day"I replied

"he also said he saw you two kiss"  said my mother "is this true?"

I knew there was no escape, so I decided to tell them the truth

"yes" I say in a sad way "but, I love him, and only him, I dont Care if he is a cheetah I want to be with him"

"alright, go"said my dad

"what"I asked out of confusion

"go find him, and tell him how you feel" 

"but, you dont care that he is a cheetah"

"we dont care what guy you date as long as you are happy" said my mom

I was happy that they were willing to accept that I loved Jacob, I gave Mom and Dad a hug and ran off. I tracked down Jacob to a cliff, it was night and the stars were shining, I took in a deep breath and walked up to him.

"uh Jacob" I said getting his attention. He saw me and looked surprised

"oh h-hi Nya, so about earlier, ....look im sorry I mean I like you but you are a lion and i'm a cheetah and you parents wouldn't approve and-"

As much as he looked cute when he gets nervous while talking to me, i decided to make him shut up, I walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"-and you just kissed me" he said surprised

"I like you too Jacob" I said

"but what about you parents w-"

"Don't worry, they are fine with us being together, right now I want to be with you" I said as I Leaned against him and put my head under his chin. We spent the rest of the Night together, I felt happy when i'm with Jacob

Skylor's Father stood on the boarder of the tree of life, ready to enter but turns back to come up with a plan to ensure he will succeed
