XVI

For the rest of the night Devi and I didn't do much. We watched Friends or some other sitcom for most of the night to take our minds off of......Y'know, but as always all good things come to an end. The light shining through the window made it hard to see the TV which made me groan. "Oh, come on! How can it be that bright?" I stressed, slumping further into the sofa. "Y/N, it's like 12:30."

I almost immediately jumped up. "What the fuck, we should go like right now." I pulled Devi up and darted to the door. "Calm down, girl. Where are you taking me?" Devi furrows her brows, putting a hand on her hip as we walked out of her door. "Well, I was thinking the library-" "The LIBRARY?!" A voice squealed, making Devi and I jump out of our boots. "Jesus Tenna, Calm the FUCK down." Devi sighed, placing a hand on her heart.

The eccentric girl walked between us, placing a hand around both of us. "And my dear friend Y/N, since when did you actually go outside and why do you look like you're a living breathing person?" She smiled. "Well Tenna, you really know how to flatter a girl. But really, it's a long story and I'm really busy." Tenna excitedly pulled me in closer "Well if I'm here then you'll have less work!" Devi moaned, pushing her off of both of us. "Really Tenna, we appreciate the offer but we can do it ourselves."

Yep......That didn't convince her, and now were sitting in the library surrounded by books......lovely. As I read in silence I couldn't help but feel uneasy. I looked around me before a ringing noise distracted me- was that a phone? I turned to Tenna who pulled a small device out of her pocket and turned it off. "The fuck is that?" Devi whispered, peaking out from the book she was reading. "It's my brand new cell phone. It was like $1000!" Tenna gloated, getting a few stares from people around us. "And how did you afford that?" I piped up. "Well I didn't buy it, did I?"

After Tenna being loud as usual we got kicked out....nice. "Look at us. Three gals in the city. You know what this means?" "I've died for the 3rd time and this is my punishment?" I mumbled in a monotone voice, earning a small chuckle from Devi. "No, and I have no clue what you mean, but no we're going shopping!" She jumped. "I don't have m-" "Shut your pretty little ass up. We don't need money, trust me."

We walked around the city for a while- Well, Tenna walked around and Devi and I made jokes behind her. Suddenly Tenna stopped. "I have discovered that have to piss! Give me a minute." She short haired woman announced before slipping into a restaurant. "I better go with her. You know what she's like." Devi frowned before following her in.

I stood uncomfortably for a moment, looking anxiously around me before a lather large man walked up to me. He was fairly attractive, big muscles and all, but as we all know relationships aren't my forte. "Hey babe, what're you doing out here all by yourself.?" He smirked. "Just waiting for my friend.." I smiled awkwardly. "I'll wait with you then, cutie."

I anxiously laughed. "I'm sorry, I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I have a boyfriend." The man rolled his eyes. "And what's he gonna do, beat me up? Look at me." I raised my eyebrows. "You'd be surprised." The man scoffed, starting to walk away. "Whatever, you don't have to be a bitch about it."

Coincidentally Devi and Tenna walked out and bumped into him, grabbing his attention. Devi managed to slip away while Tenna started to flirt with the man. When he asked for her number she said something along the lines of "I don't have a phone." To which this guy literally handed her one and walked away. I know my life is pretty fucking surreal but come on. Tenna turned around with a shit eating grin on her face and handed me the phone. "And that's how you get free stuff."

After an hour or so we managed to convince Tenna to go back to my house. As I walked up to my door I noticed a shoebox with a note taped onto it. "What is it?" Devi asked while I picked it up with one hand. I shrugged, unlocking the door with the other. "Let's see." Once the three of us got in and sad down I started to read the note.

"Dearest Y/N,
From the moment that I saw you I knew that you HAD to be mine. You're beauty much like the sun is blinding, and your skin looks as soft as my skin after exfoliating. You make my genocidal tendencies cease and my heart throb. The only thing that would make you better would be if you weren't wearing-"

"I don't think I should read the rest of that." I held my breath, my face flushed. "Do you think it's from him?" Devi glanced at me. "No, this is different. The handwriting AND the wording." Tenna who was tired of being left out spoke up. "Well are you gonna open it?" I hummed, lifting the lid off. Almost as soon as I saw the contents of the box I placed the lid back on. "Well, What is it?"

"I think- I think it's a human heart." Devi grabbed the box out of my hands and peaked inside, staring at it blankly. "How can you look at that without going insane?!" I enjoined, grabbing the side of my head. "I've not been sane for a while, also this is kinda cool." I shivered. "Whatever. I feel dirty, I'm going for a shower."

After just under half an hour of the shower I had changed into different clothes and I started to May my wet hair down with a towel. I walked into the living room and what I was met with stunned me. Devi was chasing Tenna And was shouting at her to stop eating paste. I don't even have paste in my house! I stood for a moment before sighing and sitting down.

Before I could even have a moment to myself the phone fame. "God fucking damnit. Do I ever get a break." I muttered before grabbing the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey Y/N! Now I know you said we were on a break and I said that I'd give you space buuuuuuuuuut I have something that you really have to see!!"

"Woah, calm down there. I'm pretty busy right now- TENNA STOP EATING THAT PASTE. Sorry about that, hah."

"Pleeaasssseee. I'd say you have at least an hour before this thing goes away, and I promise it won't change anything about our relationship"

I looked at the scene in front on my and realised how desperately I wanted to get away from it.

"I'll be there then. See ya." I hung up. I huffed, walking into the bathroom to dry my hair. Once that was done I walked to the door. "Hey, Where are you going?" Tenna, who was now sitting on the sofa asked. "Out. You guys can stay here if you want. I hopefully won't be gone for long." To two ladies shrugged and got back to watching whatever they were watching. When I got outside I noticed how dark it was getting. "God I love winter."

Thankfully traffic wasn't bad and it didn't take too long to actually get to Johnny's. "Oh god why the fuck am I doing this?" I asked myself before getting out of my car. When I knocked on Johnny's door it took a whole ass minute for him to start unlocking the door and another minute for it to actually open. "Holy shit, you're actually here!" Johnny literally pulled me inside, almost causing whiplash.

I smiled. "Haha, yeah, and you shouldn't be grabbing with your arm like that. I've told you to be careful." Johnny rolled his eyes. "God, you're acting like my Mom and that's wild because I actually love you and my Moms a bitch. I patted his good arm. "Oh man do I get that, and before I forget, Did you leave a box on my doorstep." Johnny looked at me with a puzzled expression. "No?" I hummed, getting confirmation. "Thought so. Guess I have a stalker."

"What?! And why the fuck aren't you freaking out!? I swear to FUCKING GOD if I find that FUCKER then I will literally rip his FUCKING RIP HIS SPLEEN OUT." He screamed continuously for a minute or so before he finally heard my talking.

"Hey, calm down. What was that thing you wanted to show me?"
