004 • 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗯𝘆 𝗴𝘂𝘆 •

"What are we getting ourselves into here, this is so dangerous!" Anastasia questions me as we stood infront at a door that Sam had messaged me was his apartment.

"Can we leave and say we go into a car accident?" I replied turning to face Anastasia who just rolls her eyes at my response.

She slowly lifts her hand up towards the door before surprisingly loudly knocking on it. A loud echo roars throughout the empty hallways as I felt my stomach start to grow vicious butterflies.

''Why did you knock so hard!'' I gasp turning towards her but she doesn't turn to face me. Instead, she focuses her eyes onto the door in front of us, before quickly placing her hands down in the front of her stomach and interlocking her pinky fingers together.

Something she has always done a lot when she's nervous.

Within seconds a blonde haired boy had opened the door, my mind straight away noticing him as Sam. He was dressed head to toe in colorful clothing and had multiple black bracelets with a cross simple and the writing 'XPLR' around his wrist.

"Ava and Anastasia you guys are finally here, come in!" he says wrapping me into a quick hug before letting go and repeating his actions again for Anastasia.

He moves away from the door exposing a small room with colorful light shining off a dark pink. Different people that looked like they all belonged to different friend groups had filled up the room.

"AVA, ANASTASIA" I hear a small squeal come from the group of people before I was somehow being squeezed into a tight hug. Tara's small arms wrapped around Anastasia and I's backs pushing us tightly together.

"I've missed you so much!" Anastasia and I both say at the same time echoing each other. We all pulled away from the tight hug and instantly I felt a sudden rush of home.

Tara and I have been best friends ever since high school but once David's fam had occurred in my life we both had slowly stopped talking to each other and sooner or later we had once became strangers again.

As soon as I saw that Tara was recently dating a famous Youtuber Jake Webber I couldn't help but feel an overcome of joy wash over my body.

Maybe we were going to best friends again.

I step back a bit and let my eyes trail around the room before falling onto someone.

Colby brock.

I remember him from Brennen's party. When I had first met him it was only for a split second before he was getting pulled back into the crowd by a brown haired girl that seemed to be angry over something but I didn't really care in the moment.

Pushing everything aside, I could agree one hundred percent that he had definitely changed a lot since the first time I had met him. His hair had changed to more of a darker color and his clothes looked way more expensive.

His grip was tight around the cup he was holding as he listens to the same brown haired girl from the party rant on about something. Her smile was wide while his was dull, obviously bored with whatever she was talking about.

Colby looked away from the girl and surprisingly looked straight at me. A tiny smile grew on his lips as he lifted a hand to wave at me. I wave back before turning around and joining into Tara and Anastasia's Conversation.
