I sucked in a deep breath as my hand slowly wrapped around the bedroom door's handle. At a lazy pace, I turned the door nub trying my hardest to not wake up Colby even though I knew that he was far to gone to wake up.

Once I had laid my head upon Colby's chest he was out within seconds, but I couldn't care less. His strong but comforting touch had sent electric bolt throughout my skin just like the feeling of a fluffy blanket on winter nights. Even hearing his soft breathing made my heart do summer salts into another universe.

As much as I had wanted to stay in Colby's hold for the rest of my life I really needed to get water as my throat has started to become dryer than the Sahara Desert. I knew that if I didn't get water in under the next two minutes I wasn't going to see tomorrow's sunlight.

Once I had managed to gently unlock the bedroom door and slid myself out of the room without waking up Colby I had felt a rush of cold air hit my body.

I hugged myself to gain warmth as I walked towards the direction of the kitchen. Once I was only inches away from the room my eyes had laid upon a shadow resting over the countertop. As I got more further into the room I was able to identify that the shadow had belonged to Andrea. She seemed to be standing still looking down at a cup of coffee below her.

''Andrea?'' I whisper causing her to slightly jump at my voice. ''Oh my Ava, what are you doing up its nearly three in the morning?'' She breaths under her breath straightening her posture.

''I could ask you the same thing'' I answer walking past her and towards the cupboard that stored all of the cups. I quickly grabbed the cup closest to me before heading towards the taps besides Andrea.

''Yeah true sorry, I just couldn't sleep, it's just one of those nights I guess'' She chuckles to herself turning around to face me. Once she had made contact with me I was able to notice that she had a tight grip around her mug and her eyes looked to be coated with a layer of stress.

''I feel you'' I return grinning before placing the cup underneath the tap and turning it on. Once the water had touched the top of the cup I had quickly raised the water towards my lips and took in every single drop of water as if it was the best thing I've ever drunken on this planet.

''You must be thirsty'' Andrea giggles as I released the cup from my mouth gasping for air. ''Could drink an ocean right now if I was allowed'' I reply back wiping the remainder of water away from my face that had somehow missed my mouth. Andrea bites down on her bottom lip, looking out of the room and into the darkness.

''Thank you Ava'' Andrea randomly states as I gently place my cup back down on the countertop. ''for what?'' I question her turning around so that now I was facing her.

''For Colby. He's a very stubborn man when it comes to him opening up about his feeling, I'm truly happy that he has someone like you to talk to'' She answers indicating towards Colby mental breakdown he had earlier.

''Just one friend helping another'' I return crossing my hands over my chest. Andrea smiles to herself indicating that she had something to say but she couldn't manage to get it out. She places her coffee mug down on the countertop before turning back around to face me.

''I glad you're here, I've known that man for around four years now and not once have I seen him connect to a person like you two have. I can tell he feels comfortable and happy around you'' She replies back giving me a comforting smile.

''I'm glad that he feels that way'' I state giving her back a small smile but instead I just wanted to scream into dark air at the sound of her words. Andrea could tell me a paragraph of what Colby thinks about me but deep down I knew that Colby didn't feel the same way I feel about him.

''Can I ask you one question?'' she asks me crossing her arms out in front of her chest. ''Only if I can ask you one to'' I answer watching as she nods her head a yes to show that she agrees with me before clearing her throat.

''Answer truthfully, do you have feelings for Colby?'' she asks me, and suddenly my mind scrambled over words to answer a simple but yet an extremely hard question.

''I don't know, maybe,'' I tensely claim rubbing the top of my arm. A massive smile grows across Andrea's face indicating that she had reacted to my words way to happy then I thought she would.

''I don't care what you say I'm taking that as a full yes'' she giggles making my cheeks start to feel warm. I swear if this woman twists my words I'm going to start a war.

''Ok moving on now it's my turn, why are you really up, you seem nervous'' I question her watching as her facial expressions completely change.

''Just like I told you before I can't sleep'' She gulps but I knew there was more to the story. ''Truthfully answer'' I return.

She mumbles multiple low sentences underneath her breath before pulling her full attention back to me. I notice that she had answered my question but her voice was way to low for even a microphone to pick it up.

''Speak up I can't hear you for the life of me'' I say trying to trace down the mixture of emotions on her face.

"Ava I think I'm bi or maybe even lesbian, I don't fucking know'' She nervously mumbles underneath her breath brushing her fingers through her hair. I stood shocked for a second before everything hit me.

''OH MY GOD!'' I shout before being controlled by her loud shushing noises. ''Kept your voice down!'' She hisses but I couldn't contain my smile which only made her grin back.

''This. is. amazing." I beam nudging her shoulders causing a small laugh to escape her mouth. ''Have you told the others?'' I question her making her huff in frustration.

''No I'm too scared to'' She replies back and instantly I felt my heart break. The fact that Andrea was too scared to tell her own best friends that she didn't like their kind really broke me.

''Well Andrea, I Ava Dorbik, am so proud of my best friend'' I smile pulling her into a tight hug.
