"The thing about Jeff's text message was that it feels like he was assuming that I was cheating on him with someone I have never even talked to" I repeated to Anastasia and Tara for the thousandth time that night as we sat underneath a massive oak tree.

Everyone was sprawled out across Sam's local park, all doing separate activities. Once Tara, Anastaisa and I had sat down underneath the closest tree to us, we all exploded into word vomit over the drama that was occurring in our lives right now. And for me, it was the text message that Jeff had sent me.

"Well do you think he believes you?" Anastasia questions crossing her arms out in front of her chest indicating that she was getting annoyed over Jeff's sudden actions.

''I think he does, he just probably has some trust issues from his past relationships'' Tara comforted me but I knew there was way more to the story than Jeff's past.

"Huh, Girl drama, I like this" I hear Colby's voice from behind me before I see him appear out of nowhere and sit down in front of us. He smiles at me before facing Anastasia and Tara waiting for one of us to continue on what we were saying.

Tara gives him a stare as if to say that he wasn't wanted here but he didn't take the hint, instead he gave her back a cocky smile which only seemed to anger her.

"Colby please go away and hang out with your cheating girlfriend instead, I think she has a lot of boy drama" Tara states instantly making Colby's head whip towards her.

His eyes glow a dark blue as he studied Tara's facial expressions. I looked between the both of them noticing that there was a bit of hatred going on between them.

"Low blow Tara, low blow" he growls at her, sending her a hard death stare. Colby crosses his arms over his chest before looking down at the grass as if he was ashamed of himself.

"Your girlfriend cheated on you and you are still with her?" Anastasia says coming out more of as a question than a statement. Colby slowly looks up from the floor and looks dead straight into her eyes but Anastasia doesn't seem to get scared by his actions.

"Yeah I am actually, is there a problem with that?" He snarls at Anastasia his voice getting deeper and darker by the second.

Whoever this 'girlfriend' was, even if she had cheated on him, Colby was still defending her for her actions meaning that his man really was in love with her.

Well, I think.

"Why?" I ask him, my voice coming out as a whisper. At my sound, Colby had turned his head to look at me and instantly his crystal blue eyes softened.

"I don't know" Was the only thing he said as he refused to take his eyes off of me.

As we both stared at each other I felt an electric feeling rush through my body like a blanket was just thrown on me. Confused I looked down at my hot hands before looking back up at Colby to witness that his expressions were now emotionless.

"I MADE A FIRE FOR US TO SIT AROUND!" I hear two guys scream from across the park, who I was introduced before from Tara as Jake and Corey.

Well, in fact, I did now Jake already since he was Tara's Boyfriend but over the time I was here I finally got to truly understand what he was like, and personally, he was a really funny guy.

"Are we going to go or are we just going to sit here like weirdos?" I question them standing up and brushing off the leaves and grass that was stuck to me.

I look over at Tara's who looked as if she had just witnessed a ghost. She looks up at me before quickly pushing herself also off the ground and dusting off the leaves attached to her body.

"I'm going to show Ava to the bathoom I'll be right back" Tara suddenly says before grabbing me by my jacket and pulling me towards the direction of the bathrooms.

"But I don't need to go" I whisper to her confused but yet she still continued to drag me towards the toilets. Once we had arrived she pulls me towards the back of the toilets before looking around the place to see if anyone was there.

"What's going on, you're scaring me" I say crossing my arms to gain warmth as she walked around the small box which somehow had a toilet in it. Tara stops right in front of me before placing her hands into her jacket's pockets to gain warmth.

"Ava, you and Colby" she stutters out trying to look for words. She was shaking but I couldn't tell if it was from the cold or if she was scared of something.

"What about us?" I question her. ''Your starting to sound like Jeff'' I joke but she doesn't laugh, instead, she refuses to look at me as she pulls her attention towards her big boot that was kicking the dirt.

"Ava Colby's someone you don't really want to be around" she whispers out acting as if she was telling me the government's secret. ''He can get you into a lot of danger'' she says looking around again to see if we were still alone.

"In what way?" I ask noticing she might mean in a stalker or serial killer way.

"He owns something that you might not want to get involved with" she states making me more confused. Colby wasn't the type to run a business, plus his a Youtuber what would he be running.

"I'm confused?" I reply, not catching onto Ava's train of thought.

"Ava, I've been friends with him for ages now and I know that look when I see it" She says making me frustrated at her words. God, why does this girl always have to act mysterious?

''Ava he gave you a look'' she huffs waving her hands in front of her expecting me to know what she is saying. "What look you are making no sense right now" I say watching as she huffs making a white cloud escape out of her mouth from the cold wind.

"His mind is doing something if that makes sense" she whispers out her face growing worried. I nod my head no meaning that I had no clue what she was on about.

Is the guy some robot now.

"Meaning what?" I ask wanting her to continue.

"It's processing itself to love and protect you" She whispers before anxiously looking around again. "Huh?" Was the only thing I could say as I look at Tara with a confused expression.

Colby and I had legit met not even two hours and now he's already doing some system update shit in his brain like someone out of a movie that has superpowers.

"Ava he doesn't just wanna be friends with you" She finally says and instantly I felt my stomach drop sending me back to when the first time David had said that to me about Jeff.

"Oh" I say once it all sets in.
