"Ok so call me if you see a gun, drugs or anything gang-related and I'll come and kick their asses" Anastasia says pulling up to the building where I was located to model at with Colby.
"Yes mum" I reply back grabbing my purse from the back seat.
"Ava I mean it, I don't wanna lose my best friend" Anastasia says her voice going soft. I smile at her giving her one of my reassuring smiles I give David when he get blood tests.
"Anastasia'' I say slowly placing my pinky finger in front of her face. She gets out her pinky finger and wraps it around mine.
''I pinky promise you Anastasia that I will not get hurt" she smiles at me as she shakes my pinky finger before unlocking my car door.
"Message when you need to get picked up" My smile grows as I open my door and step out. I turn around one last time to face Anastasia, giving her a thumbs up before watching as she drives away.
I walk into the building a sudden wave of anxiety pilling onto me as I look around to see a bunch of cameras and people running around the building.
"Ava over here!" I hear a female voice yell before turning around spotting my agent smiling at me. She walks over to me holding a clipboard in one hand and a coffee in the other.
"Hey Chloe!" I say feeling the wave crash over me bigger this time.
"You look awesome!" she says before blowing a piece of her bleached blond curls off of her face.
"Thank you" I reply back smiling at her as I look around the building trying my hardest to spot Colby.
"Your shoot starts in 20 so get ready" she said walking past me patting my back with her clipboard, her high boots making a noise every step she took.
As I turn back around my eyes suddenly fall straight onto Colby who had around 30 cameras around him.
He looks up from the camera his eyes meeting mine and for a second. I could tell what he was thinking about but then It disappeared. He smiles at me before looking back down at the cameras and for some weird reason, I felt safe.
