I laid down on Colby's bed looking up at the white, cracked ceiling. I focused my attention on a crack that had started from the top right corner and had ended up directly in the middle.

Nothing crossed my head.

No thoughts.

No one.

"Hey Ava, you awake?" I hear Andrea whisper from my door. I sit up smiling at her waving for her to come in.

"No I'm awake, what's up?" she smiles at me sitting down on the bed next to me.

"Well I'm ready bored and since you're the only girl in the house I had thought that maybe I could curl your hair?" she asks me twirling her hair around her finger.

"Of course, why not" I reply back watching as she claps her hands together in excitement a massive smile growing across her face.

"Yay! I love having another girl in the house!" she squeals running out of the room before returning back with a curler.

She looks around the room looking for a PowerPoint to plug her curler into, a confused expression painted on her face.

I watch her look for a PowerPoint a confused expression painted on my face. If she actually was Colby's "girlfriend" then wouldn't she know where all the PowerPoints in his room are since she might do her makeup and hair in here when they are going somewhere.

"Where does Colby keep his PowerPoints?" she asks looking around the room before finding one next to the bed.

"Come sit" she says patting the floor next to her. I lift myself off the bed, sitting down in front of her. Andreas full attention was drawn to the red button on the curler as she waited for it to turn green.

"What the fuck are you guys doing in my room?" Colby asks looking at us from the door. He had a slight bruise forming around his cheek that wasn't there yesterday. I don't remember Colby leaving the house so how did he get that?

"I'm curling Ava's hair duh" Andrea replies back holding the curling iron in the air.

"And that's my cue to leave" he says making a tiny laugh escape from my mouth. He looks at me, his bright blue eyes shined making his smile seem brighter. He looks back at Andrea nodding his head, walking away before being stopped by Andrea calling out his name.

"Colby, why do you have a bruise on your cheek?" She asks him. He looks at me before looking back at Andrea, his mouth opening and closing as he tries to find words.

"Oh it's nothing" he says shrugging his shoulders before leaving.

Well, that was weird.

"Oh look it's ready!" Andrea smiles turning my body so my back was to her. The room grew silent as Andrea pulls my hair into sections.

"You and Colby are really cute" I compliment her not knowing what else to say. She scoffs making me wonder if I had said something wrong.

"Oh sweetheart, do you really think we are dating" Andrea laughs taking a piece of my hair and wrapping it around the curling iron.

Wait so does that mean they are not dating?

"What do you mean?" I question her as she unwraps my hair from the iron letting the curl fall onto my face.

"Oh you don't know" she huffs, her voice sounding sad. I didn't want to reply yes because she sounded like she didn't want to explain, but I just know that my brain isn't going to stop thinking about it.

"Yeah" I reply back not wanting to make anything awkward since this is our first proper conversation.

"Well me and Colby are fake dating" I scrunch my eyebrows together, confused by the massive statement she had just said.

That sentence had made no sense whatsoever.

"Why would you do that?" I hear Andrea huff from behind me grabbing another piece of my hair and wrapping it around the curling iron.

"Well I was in a really bad position two years ago and I was actually apart of a completely different gang to this one and I had hated it so much that I had decided to run away" I could tell that Andrea was trying to play it off as if it didn't affect her but deep down I could tell that it was hurting her.

"What happened after that?" I question her, watching as another piece of hair falls onto my face.

"Well when I was running away I had met Colby who had agreed to be my "fake" boyfriend since it's a rule not to mess with anyone really close to the leader of that group and I guess you have figured out that Colby is the leader of this group"

Wow

"I never knew this, I'm sorry" Was the only thing I could say. My heart broke knowing that such an innocent person like her went through all of that.

"Don't apologize you didn't know" she smiles at me patting my shoulder. Ok, this might be really off topic, but if she wasn't actually "dating" Colby then why is everyone calling her a "cheater".

"Hey can I ask you one more question?" I ask, watching as she unwraps my hair letting it fall softly onto my back.

"Yeah of course" I felt bad asking her any more questions but if I didn't ask her now, then it would be in my brain for ages.

"Why do people keep calling you a "cheater" if you're not actually dating Colby" I ask her putting air quotes at the word cheater.

"Well, I actually have a "real" boyfriend and one day my dumbass had forgotten that Colby was famous and I had kissed my real boyfriend in public, and having my luck there were fans around with cameras" I could tell that there was a hint of sadness but also anger in her voice when she had said that.

"Oh shit, that must be hard as" I reply back, playing with a loose string on my jumper.

"You get use to it after a while, just happy you're not able to see my boyfriend in the photos" she replies back.

"That's true" I agree with her as she grabs the last piece of my hair and wrapping it around the curling iron.

My heart broke for her. I could tell how sad this subject made her feel, but my dumbass just needs to know everything. I really wanted to just turn around and pull her into a tight hug like David does when I'm nervous or worried but I didn't want anything to be awkward so I sat still playing with the loose strand on my jumper.

"Yeah anyway pushing that aside, your hair is actually so beautiful" she compliments me changing the subject.

"Aw thank you" I reply back as Andrea sits on her knees grabbing different bits of my hair and re curling them.

"And plus if you were wondering, Colby is definitely not my type his to grumpy" Andrea randomly says out of nowhere making me laugh.

"Don't worry I'm not looking for someone right now" I say between laughs. I hear Andrea scoff from behind me.

"Come on you guys have those lovey doves eyes" she laughs. I turn to face her a confused expression painted on my face since I had just arrived yesterday.

"I came yesterday" I add onto her comment watching as she unplugs the curler from out of the wall. She lifts one finger to my face meaning for me to watch what she was going to do.

"Colby come here" I hear Andrea shout. I turn to her my eyes widening.

Please don't embarrass me Andrea!

"Yeah" Colby says poking his head through the door before his eyes meet with mine, a gentle smile growing across his face.

"Do you like Ava's hair?" She questions him pushing my hair to the front of my shoulders.

"Yeah it looks really good" she says his voice in a comfortable tone making me smile.

Oh my lord.
