A/N
Honestly why are you guys still reading this???
We all gathered in Bills garage and waited for him to start up the projector. I sat next to Stan and felt anxiety creeping back, my leg was repeatedly bouncing up and down as Bill finally puts in the slide.
"Look. That's where Georgie disappeared." Bill said pointing at a label reading Storm Drain
"There's the iron works. And the black spot." He pointed out
"Everywhere IT happens i-it's all connected to the sewers. And they all meet up at-"
"The well house." Ben interrupted
Oh dear god not that shit hole
"The house on Neibolt street." Stan corrected quietly
"You mean that creepy ass house where all the hobos and junkies like to sleep?" Richie asked
I put my head in my hands and silently tried not to freak out.
"I hate that place. It always feels like it's watching me." Bev told us making me shiver a bit with that
"That's where I saw IT. That's where I saw the clown." Eddie confessed in fear
"Tha-tha-tha-that's where IT lives." Bill concluded
"Fuck." I whispered quietly
"I can't imagine anyone wanting to live there." Stan said
"Tell me about it." I say sarcastically
Eddie then bolted up and stood in front of us all gasping for air and having an asthma attack.
"Can we stop talking about this. it's summer. we're kids. I can barely break. I'm about to have a fucking asthma attack. I am NOT doing this." He finishes by ripping the map off of the wall.
"Eddie." I raised my voice a bit
"What the hell, put the map back." Bill demanded of him but Eddie shook his head no.
The projector then began to bug out leaving us all confused.
"What's going on?" I asked bill
He looked at me and shrugged. I made my way over to the projector and tried to fix it but to no avail.
"Georgie." Bill whispered sadly as he saw a close up of Georgie
The image went up to bills mom and began to shift into something else. The hair moved back to reveal IT smirking at us on the screen.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!?" Richie screamed latching onto Eddie
"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!" Eddie screamed back holding onto Richie just as hard
"Bill turn it off." I tell him
I tried to be calm but fuck it
"BILL FUCKING TURN IT OFF!!" I screamed
Everyone was begging him to but he was staring at IT like he was caught in a single moment. Mike kicked the projector over and before we got our hopes up it started to flash blurred pictures on the wall. With each clock my heart raced faster, I latched my hand onto Bills and stayed close to him as more distorted images of IT appeared until they were gone. IT then appeared out of the screen grinning with a row of huge sharp teeth. I looked over at Stan who was still extremely close to IT.
"STANLEY GET AWAY FROM THERE!!"
Luckily he did but ITs humongous form crept towards us faster and faster. The guys tripped over each other and Beverly backed into the corner while IT made its way towards her. We all lifted the garage door and luckily IT was gone.
"Are you alright?" I asked Beverly pulling her into a hug feeling her tears land on my shoulder.
I let go of her and took in a couple breaths
"Thanks Ben." She thanks patting him on his shoulder
Then cling to Bill still in a state of fear. It hurt me to see her like this, she's normally so brave and care free but she's so scared.
"IT saw us. IT saw us and it knows where we are." Eddie frantically said
"It always did." Bill mumbled stepping outside "So let's go."
"Go? Go where?" Ben asked him scoffing a little
"Neibolt. T-th-that's where Georgie is." He answered simply
"After that." Stan more stated then asked
"Yeah it's summer. We should be outside." Richie spoke being pretty damn serious
"If you say it's summer one more f-f-fucking time.." Bill said before getting on silver
I quickly rushed to him and got on before he could leave.
"What you think I would let you go alone dork." I joked as he drove away.
Beverly called after us but Bill didn't stop. He just kept riding. I was extremely scared I'm not gonna lie, we didn't know what could happen in there. And I didn't want to think of the worst possible scenario.
We made it to Neibolt and slowly started walking to the door. Bill latched onto my hand and pulled me closer, probably seeing how scared I looked.
"He thrusts his fists against the p-p-post and still insists he sees the ghosts." Bill started to repeat quietly stuttering each time
"Bill, we don't know what could happen in there." I told him as we stood on the porch
"BILL! You guys can't go in there. This is crazy!" Beverly exclaimed showing up with everyone else
"Look you don't have to come I there with me." Bill tells everyone sternly
"But what happens when another Georgie goes missing? Or another Betty, or another Ed Corcoran, or one of us? Are you just gonna pretend it isn't happening too? Cause I can't, I go home and all I see is that Georgie isn't there. His clothes, his toys, his stupid stuffed animals are but he isn't. So walking into this house. For me. It's easier then walking into my own." He finished.
Everyone looked at him in amazement. I was so proud he didn't stutter, and Richie pointed it out as well to.
"Wait!" Stan announced his voice hitching a small bit
"Shouldn't we have someone keep watch? Just-just in case anything bad happens?" Stan asked clearly not wanting to go in there.
"Who-who wants to stay out here?" He asked listening to stans idea
Everyone except Bill, Bev, and I raised our hands. I wasn't that surprised either. I wouldn't want to go in either but I knew I had to.
"Fuck." Richie mumbled
