𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐲𝐮𝐮 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 ♡

4. Sugawara - Library ♡

The bell rang, the school day was over and you knew it was time for you to head over tot the library, you were always there, as you were quite anti social, kinda shy in general too and you never believed in real friendships, because it would always end up with the other person stop talking to you or being a fake friend.

but, no one would of ever guessed that one boy could gain your trust so quickly, Sugawara, the setter and vice-captain of the school's volleyball. he had never really seen you around and immediately got curious because of your appearance, he liked it you were smart and always got things done, as of one time you helped him with his homework, he thought you were the kindest girl he has ever met, and this brings you back to the present...

you peacefully took out your books and started studying literature, you were really on your study mode now no one could ever interrup-

BOOM

you heard a loud noise coming from the back of the shelf in front of you which made you look up, frustrated from what ever noise that has interrupted your study session, you got up from your seat and walked over only to see Sugawara crouched down covered in books, quickly realizing it was him who took down all those books from the shelf

"really suga-san?" you asked with a not so surprised face with your arms crossed

"hah.. hello?" sugawara replied looking up with a concerned smile trying not to get you mad

"excuse me this is a library" you heard the library keeper saying to you both and sugawara quickly stood up and bowed in apology

"why are you here anyways?" you asked, he turned to look down at you

"oh well, you know... homework...as always, hehe"he scratched the back of his neck

"and you just had to make all that fuss? you're never this nervous when asking me to help with your homework suga-san" he just stared you for a while

you obviously didn't know but it was clear to everyone and sugawara himself that he had feelings, whenever he talked about you at volleyball practice he would start lightly blushing, and he felt more nervous when he talked to you by the days that went by and got to know you more, his heart would beat a little fast especially when you sit close to him or laugh at his stupid jokes.

you snapped a finger in front of his face, waking him up from his daydreaming and staring at your face, taking in all your small details, the long lashes, your (e/c) eyes and your cute looking nose

"my god you're a weird boy, come on let's get your homework done" grabbed him by the ear, annoyed you dragged him to the table you were previously sat on

"ow ow my ear!" he whisper yelled since you were both in a library and just got told off by the keeper.

you helped sugawara do his English homework, you were sitting so close to him your shoulders were touching each other's and this made sugawara a little nervous, he could feel the palms of his hands starting to sweat. "hey (y/n), uhm...did i write this correctly?" sugawara asked you concerned about what he wrote down in his English book

"hm? let me see" you then stood up and moved closer and hovered on sugawara's side, your cheeks could almost touch, he quickly eyed at how close you were and it made his heart beat so fast he thought it would jump out of his chest

"hey, (y/n) aren't you standing a little too close?" sugawara asked mumbling quietly

you turned to stare at his side profile, he realized you were looking and he lowered his head, you could clearly see he was blushing and his hands were fidgeting, it now made sense to you why he recently started acting so much more nervous around you, being the little mischievous little devil you are, you thought it would be funny to tease him a little

"aww someone is blushing" you teased in almost a singing tone and moved your face closer, he turned his head to face completely away trying to hide his tomato red face, you knew just how hard he was blushing you could see his ears turning red as well

"does sugawara have maybe a little crush?" you kept teasing, that's when suddenly sugawara wasn't sitting so stiff and nervous like before, next thing you knew he had his head turning to face yours and you didn't expect it but your heart started beating and you could feel the blood flow to your cheeks, your faces were now so close to each other that your lips were separated by literally only a couple of centimeters you were almost like a hypnotized cobra when looking into his eyes

"yeah i do" he started replying to your question

"i like you (y/n)" this time he said it without blushing, your emotions were turning into fireworks at this point, it felt unreal to hear those words being said to you, as you were staring at him you realized just how beautiful his skin was, the slight hair falling on his face and his pretty almond eyes, now you knew how sugawara felt about you, how he always stared at you so passionately, you didn't even notice what was happening and you found your face so close to his.

as you opened your mouth to speak he closed the distance between your lips, very gently he pressed his hand on the side of your face

"i-i'm sorry (y/n)-" he pulled away looking down, not looking like the brave guy he was a minute ago, you cut him off by putting a hand on your shoulder and pecked his lips once more

"it's ok Koshi, you could say that i have the same feelings for you" you just gave him a small smile

"w-wait did you just-" he couldn't believe what he heard, you called him by his first name and it made his eyes shine along with his cheeks slightly blushing once more, his mouth open in shock

'bitch i'm S H O O K E T H' that's what was going on in his brain

your little moment was cut off by the library keeper once again coming up to you both

"if you're gonna read then you're welcome to stay, but if you gotta keep talking and making out like lovey dovey teenagers then you can get out" this got attention of the people in the library around you.

you were both kicked out the library which had you disappointed since you didn't get all your work done, sugawara could see it from your expression, he knew you too well now

"how about we get ice cream? my treat" he faced you as you were both walking down the hallway, heading for the school gates

you looked at him, he really did know you too well "sure, let's go koshi!" you hopped towards the exit

"oh my god you said it agai-"

"come on koshi i'm hungry now that you mentioned ice cream!" you took his hands started speed walking, dragging sugawara behind you, he didn't even bother finishing his sentence he looked at your smile and it was so contagious to him that it made him smile too.
