𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐲𝐮𝐮 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 ♡

6. Daichi - Mistletoe♡

"LET'S GO DAICHI-SAN!" you screamed at the top of your lungs to your boyfriend who was in the middle of a volleyball match against Nekoma High, it was also a Christmas day so if the Karasuno boys won we would surprise them with a big celebration and Christmas party all in one at (f/n)'s house since she/he had the biggest house, and her/his parents were out of town too so it was almost perfect.

They were down to the last two points, if the boys can do this carefully they might actually win for the first time against Nekoma

the last point was almost like in slow motion, nishinoya had saved the ball just in time, it then got passed to Daichi and to the amazing duo, hinata and kageyama

SLAM

the sound of the ball hitting was so loud, as soon as the ball got slammed to the ground everyone from Karasuno jumped in excitement, the boys did it!

AFTER THE MATCH

as soon as it was over you quickly made your way down to the court with a newly filled water bottle with ice along inside of it

you spotted Daichi and ran over to him

"oh, HERE COMES DAICHI'S LITTLE FAIRY GIRLFRIEND" sugawara yelled when he saw me running past and then throwing myself onto Daichi giving him a hug that startled him a bit, he quickly held you in his arms

"ah (y/n) i'm soaking in sweat tho why now" Daichi san said laughing

"i couldn't resist, i'm so happy for you!" you replied back, he then picked you up and spun you around

everyone else on the team looking at you both in awe

"oh we have a surprise for all of you guys" you replied when Daichi put you back down and you turned to face the whole team

"huh?what?where?" Tanaka relied with pure joy

"EVERYONE OVER AT MY HOUSE!" (f/n) screamed at the entrance doors of the court

"(f/n)-SAN!" nishinoya screamed back, (f/n) and nishinoya knew each other for a very long time, they were the two class clowns, both acted like brother and sister you just loved seeing those two be crazy

"well, lets go (y/n) !" Daichi grabbed your hand and walked out along with you and the rest of the team.

30 MINUTES LATER

all the boys had taken a shower and changed into casual clothes to then meet at (f/n)'s house, everyone was hanging around in the living room, everyone was happy and this also made you smile, Daichi still had to arrive so you just sat on the couch talking to hinata on the subject of how great of a captain Daichi was

'my god this boy hinata had legit tears in his eyes while talking about how much Daichi has helped him with volleyball'

as you continued your conversation with hinata you felt two arms wrap around your waist which made you jump around only to be met by your boyfriend Daichi, you gave him back the hug

"you did amazing today Daichi i'm proud of you" you mumbled in the embrace

"says you, you did amazing at the cheering part" he giggled

when he pulled away he looked at you

"oh! you're wearing that shirt i got you huh" he smiled

"yep!" you smiled back at him

"my god you are so cute" he replied pinching both your cheeks and gave you a pat on the head

"i'm no kid Daichi" you looked up at him with a pout, but that's also when you noticed something above his head? no, it was attached to the ceiling, a mistletoe.

since it was Christmas of course (f/n) would try to get you and Daichi to kiss since it was a step you had never done with Daichi since it had only been 2 weeks since you started dating and (f/n) had always been trying with her really bad strategies to get you both to kiss, and this was her smartest choice probably

you gave Daichi a slight smirk and pointed up above his head which made him look to where you were pointing to, when he looked up and realized what it was he blushed a bit looking at you, you immediately looked down feeling yourself blush too

"it's ok if you're not comfortable with it yet Daichi i mean-" you started

"it's okay"

he grabbed your chin gently making you look up noticing that he moved his face closer, you looked in his eyes before he said

"it's fine (y/n) I've wanted this for a while" he gave you a small smile and got closer

that's when you both closed your eyes and your lips touched his, your hands were sweating by the nervousness but you also felt excitement within you

"i love you (y/n)" he pulled away and kept staring you in the eye

"i-i love you too Daichi"
