15. Matsukawa - school project ♡

You sat in class so bored you thought you might pass out into a deep sleep, twisting your pen between your fingers until the teacher spoke up

"okay, i will be assigning a project about world war 2 and i'll pair you all up, now let's see" the teacher looked down at a paper where she wrote down all the pairs

you looked up, you were nervous you could feel your heart beating fast

"first pair will be (y/n) and matsukawa" the teacher spoke looking up to then name other pairs, you turned your head diagonally from where you were sitting, looking towards matsukawa as he turned around in his seat giving you a small smile and a little wave, your heart made a little jump

matsukawa was the only friend you really had who also happened to be your long time crush.

once the last class was over you started putting away your books, a shadow appeared standing above you, looking up to be met by matsukawa's stare

"hey (y/n), wanna come over to my house to do the project?" he offered

"oh uhm, yeah sure" you smiled, standing up from your seat and walking out the classroom together

"aw look at the two love birds" oikawa appeared from behind us, throwing his arm around matsukawa

"chill out oikawa, it's just a project" matsukawa replied calmly raising an eyebrow at oikawa

"sure sure, i'll see you tomorrow at practice mattsun!" oikawa waved and ran past us towards iwaizumi and walking along with him

"talk about being love birds" matsukawa pointed at oikawa and iwaizumi

"yup they are stuck together with super glue" you giggled, this made matsukawa laugh softly too

it wasn't long after you finally arrived at his house, you had already been at his house plenty since he often asked to help him with science homework

you entered the quiet house, no sign of his family being home

"oh my parents are out so don't worry about staying to greet my mother for thirty minutes" he referred to every time you would come over to his house, matsukawa's mother would always have a long talk with you

" what?! your mom is so kind and sweet she seems to like my company" you replied

"yeah, a little too much" he said heading up the stairs

"aww someone is a little momma's boy" you nudged his arm and he just mumbled with a simple

"whatever"

you entered his room to be met by his many medals he won in elementary school from volleyball competitions which you've seen many times before

you both sat down at his desk, you got out your supplies and your laptop to help with the research

it had been a while, you kept looking for more information on your laptop, with one hand you scrolled, the other you just rested on the desk

you suddenly felt a warmth on your resting hand, your gaze slowly moved to your hand being covered by matsukawa's big hand, you looked at him

"(y/n) is there any chance you're free next week on Thursday after my volleyball game?" he stared towards you with blush forming upon his cheeks as his eyes were holding a concerned look

"m-mattsun..." you looked at him for a while in a bit of a shock your heart skipping a beat

"w-what i'm trying to say is that, i like you and wanted to know if you wanted to maybe go on a date?" he confessed not breaking any eye contact

your stomach was now doing back flips

"yes! o-of course i like you too-" you were cut off by the sudden move foreward matsukawa made, smashing his lips against yours

now it was almost like fireworks were exploding inside you, you had been waiting fo this moment

matsukawa gently broke away from the kiss staring back into your eyes

"thank you (y/n)" he smiled caressing my hair

♡ - hey hey hey! this one was shorter but i was quite busy this week T-T i'm also hoping to write my first book soon, idk if it will be a todoroki or shinra fanfic but hey i hopethe person that requested for a matsukawa one shot enjoyed it as much as i did writing it :)
