"Breaking news! Death of beloved university professor found in river two weeks ago ruled a homicide. This is the third case of murder in this area. The victim had..."
"Turn that off." Jimin shot for the remote control, promptly pressing the red button and flinging the hateful object to the side.
"Hey!" Jungkook exclaimed with a scowl from the couch. "I was watching that!"
"Why?" Jimin asked, incredulous. "Isn't real life depressing enough for you?"
"I just don't want to be an ill-informed idiot. I want to know what's happening in the world around me."
Jimin's brows pulled together. "I have news for you. We're leaving for a totally different world today, so maybe this," he pointed to the TV, "is rather irrelevant now."
"Whatever," Jungkook scoffed, failing to notice the nervous twitching of Jimin's face as his stone expression faltered for a bit.
Before he could think of an appropriate retort, Hoseok marched in briskly, clad in tight black attire from head to toe and drawing attention to himself.
He threw what seemed to be a map with notes written on it against the table.
"This is where we're supposed to go," he pointed at a small green area, a red circle drawn around it.
"It's not too far from here," Jimin said with narrowed eyes fixated on the map.
"Um guys?" Jungkook asked from behind his laptop. "You know Google maps exist, right? We live in the era of technological revolution, after all, let's not be grandpas."
"Those could be traced!" Hoseok hissed, striding towards the younger boy and slapping a hand over his laptop harshly, closing it swiftly.
Jungkook stared at him with his mouth agape, seeming utterly traumatized.
"Hoseok's right," Jimin firmed. "But then again, we were invited, very formally if I may add, to Abaddon. They're kinda expecting us, so being subtle about our arrival is pointless."
Hoseok shifted his glaring eyes to him. "You really think Abaddon is the only danger lurking around the corner, huh?"
"What is that supposed to mean?" Jungkook questioned with agitation.
"It's supposed to mean that we need to be careful," Hoseok shot back. "I really expected you to be smarter than that, Glasses. We need to think at least three steps ahead. They're already watching us, so maybe they're even listening to this conversation as we speak." Paranoia swam in his dark orbs.
Jungkook frowned, apparently not very pleased with Hoseok's words but he didn't say anything.
"I'm gonna go check up on Meisa," he announced, standing up from the couch and wandering out in the corridor.
