I found a love

The music played through the speakers sitting in the corner of the small living room we shared in our cute little cabin in the woods, north of the resistance headquarters.
I sat and read my book but couldn't help but hum along with the tune
-follow my lead
I found a girl,
Beautiful and sweet
I couldn't help but imagine my love
My soulmate,

I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
"Rey."
CAUSE we were just kids when we fell in love,
Not knowing what it was,

I began to sing aloud

I began to think about her,
I miss her.
I know she'll be back any minute now but, honestly,
I love her so much my heart can't bear to be without her.

I stood up and danced around the room,
Spinning around the imaginary Rey in my arms
"When You said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath,
But you heard it,"
I quickly shut off the music,
And sat down as I heard Rey open the door.
"Hey Ben"
She yawned, obviously tired.
Sweat covered and messy haired
"I better get cleaned up I look filthy!"
I stood up and walked over to her
"Darling, you look perfect, tonight."
She smiled and reached up to grab my face as she planted a soft kiss on my lips.
"I love you but seriously, I'm a sweaty ape right now!"
