It's been 2 weeks since jess saw josh, they went on their first date and it was casual but cute. They got a break and he went home. He offered for Jess to come but she stayed home and her and her mom went to Florida to visit family and got back yesterday. Jess woke up to a soft knock at her door. She picked up her head still sleepy. Charlie popped her head in.
"hey, they called me in to work today. Are you going to be ok alone?"
"yeah, i'll be ok. I'll just sleep and watch netflix." her mom smiled at her
"ok i love you." she blew a kiss and jess pretended to catch it
"love you too be safe"
It's been different around the house without hunter. Jess and Charlie try to think positively when they think about him. Jess had been having more frequent panic attacks recently and she doesn't know why, but it always happens when she thinks of the day he died.
Jess laid her head back on her pillow falling into a deep sleep again not hearing the knocks and the doorbell. She tossed and turned until she finally woke up after her phone went off. She sat up and checked her phone
