4 years later

It's been a wild ride for josh and jess. They had a few fights that led to them having their distance but it never lasted long. When they would separate jess would go home and josh would go back to his hotel. Josh would be the first one to call as soon as he got to his hotel and they would work out the problem.

It was now 4 years later and the couple is still together now they are both 22 and going on their paths together. They are living in an apartment in utah that was surrounded by friendly people. Jess said she wanted to stay home for a few years before moving and josh definitely wanted to stay so he could do the thing, you know the 'let's change your last name?' stuff, yeah that.

Jess was sitting on the couch and josh had his head in her lap while they watched tv. She would glance down at him and he would already be looking at her. Josh knew he wanted to propose to her soon. He already got permission from charlie and robert.

"hey?" josh poked her cheek

"yes?" she looked down at him

"are you busy tonight?"

"if you mean staying home with you then yes." she ran her fingers through his hair

"i mean, do you want to go out tonight?"

"we haven't been on a date in forever, so yes," Josh stands up and looked at her with his mouth open.

"what about last night!"

"josh, eating takeout and watching stranger things is not a date."

Josh gave her a quick kiss and got up from the couch. He offered her his hand and she took it laughing.

"alright let's get ready!" he said excitedly

Jess was really questioning why he was so excited. Josh ran into their room and looked behind him making sure jess wasn't in the room yet, he opened the drawer and picked up a small box.

What jess didn't know is that josh got the ring a month after they were dating, he just knew that he was going to marry her no matter what happened to them he only wanted jess.

"angel?" he stuffed the ring in his pocket

"yeah?"

"you ok?"

"yeah i'm just trying to find something to wear." he walked into their closet and saw jess standing in front of her clothes, he wrapped his arms around her and put his head on her shoulder

"what you're wearing is fine." she looked back at him with her eyebrows scrunched in confusion

"you told me to get ready?"

"yeah i mean are you emotionally ready?"

"emotionally?"

"yeah."

Josh drove with jess to the special location. Jess looked at her boyfriend and smiled at him and just enjoyed his company. Jess would keep asking josh where they were going but he would just say for her to wait and she would pout each time he said it.

"we're here." he smiled at jess

"why are we here josh?" she looked out of the car to see the hill that they came to a lot in the past years

"just come on." he unlocked the car doors and they walked out

He walked around the car and stood in front of jess. She looked at him confused and he grabbed her and started walking.

"josh?"

"yes?"

"what are we doing here?" they were far away from the car and he stopped in front of her. He held both of her hands and looked into her eyes. Jess's heart started to speed up just thinking about what was going to happen.

"you know i love you?" she nodded

Josh slowly let go of her hands and backed up a little bit. Jess's eyes filled with tears and as he got down on one knee. She covered her mouth trying not to let a sob out while a few tears went down her face

"jessica rose, you have been one hell of a ride. And we have talked about this moment a lot and sometimes we would joke about it but i always added to it the ideas you said about what our wedding would look like, even our kids. Just having you plan our future made me want to hurry up and marry you. Jess, i need you to understand that you have changed my life and i would never change that, i don't know where i would be if you didn't audition for sammy." He pulled out the ring and opened the box, jess was balling her eyes out and josh chuckled thinking back to her when he gave her to promise ring

"josh-"

"i want you to know i've had this ring one month after we started dating. I know it's kinda like jim and pam but i wasn't aiming for that actually it just felt so right-" he stopped and laughed and jess laughed too

"i told you this is what was going to happen." they both were laughing at themselves when they talked josh said how he might not be able to get through his speech.

"-and i didn't tell you but i did talk to your mom after i got the ring and she didn't complain at all she just encouraged me to make you happy and live our lives. So jessica rose will you please make me so happy and become my wife?" josh has tears in eyes now

Jess couldn't say any words all she did was nod her head and she felt like she did it a million times. Josh grabbed the ring and put it on her ring finger. He stood up immediately and wrapped his arms around her and they both cried happily.

"i love you so much i can't wait to do everything with you," he said pulling back and wiping her tears

"i love you too." she kissed him passionately grabbing the sides of his face

it's taking me so long to write these because i don't want to lose them, they became apart of me because this is my first story.
