I gasped as i hit the ground once again. Damn that never gets easier i thought grumpily.
I looked around before realizing i was once again outside the fae palace. Loud sounds reached my ears and i turned and raced in that direction. Grunts and the clanking of metal sounded as i rounded the place walls. I watched in awe as fae soldiers fought one another bare chested. The various vibrant hues of their hair glittered as the sun beat down on their gloriously dampened chests that heaved with their ferocity
Immediately i could make our Sinik. He stood strong above all the men. His aura screamed strength and dominant. Even i could not deny i was growing excited watching him. His brilliant fire red hair looked as fierce as his countenance. I was awe struck.
A glint caught my eye as i unashamedly ogled Sinik. I swung my gaze toward it and noticed a figure just beyond the trees attempting to remain obscured. Unfortunately the jewels she wore gave away her presence.
My grandmother
She watched Sinik as i did with obvious appreciation. Did this woman have no shame or morals whatsoever?
Not a moment later the training grounds emptied as the men left for the day. I watched sickeningly as Sinik searched his surroundings cautiously before he fled into the trees. My grandmothers giggles flittering through the air
I felt sick seeing him love struck over her before i once again was hurled through that tunnel. This time my stomach churned in protest. Nausea rose in my throat before i was expelled yet again onto the ground
Seriously is there a better way to do this past travel thing?
Getting to my feet I noticed i was in a cottage of some kind. It looked sparse, dusty and unhomely.
I had thought the facility was bad. who could possibly live here? I got my answer once i spied a small picture of A flame haired Sinik with a burgundy haired man and a orange haired Female.
Sinik's home
Loud voices shouting nearby drew my attention to the closed door just beyond. I didn't want to scar myself by seeing what cant be unseen, so i simply pressed my ear on the door and listened intently
"Sinik it is the only way! He will never suspect you. Then we can finally be together. i am tired of all this sneaking, are you not?" the voice said pleadingly
"You know i am my love, but I cannot betray my king that way! What you speak of is Treason!" I heard Sinik yell
"Do you care more for your king or me?! If you really loved me you would do whatever it takes to have us be together!!" The woman shouted
I gasped in shock. Were they planning to kill the king?
Shuffling sounded just before the door burst open and the woman stormed out
My grandmother
Her clothing was wrinkled and her hair disheveled. it did not take a genius to know what they had been doing in that room. The very thought brought made my stomach protest
"Wait! Myla!"
I watched as young Sinik growled at her departure. then abruptly he broke down with a silent tremble. his shoulders shook slightly even though no sound erupted. My heart broke for him. My fierce Sinik. I did not know this version. he was so vulnerable so...impressionable.
I wanted to hug him and tell him to leave the bitch alone. That she clearly didn't truly care for him, but i was not really here and all i could do was watch in anger as my grandmother destroyed and exploited him for gain
