¡Chapter recap¡
Wei Li, upon hearing Yu Zhen's reply, was not only left pining; he was left hungry for more answers. Just then, before Wei Li could register what he was saying, he dropped a bomb shell that no child would ever like to hear.

"So then, what if they aren't your real family?"

Yu Zhen stared at Wei Li with a blank expression before releasing a stiff laugh, "Crown Prince of Xiu, what are you daring to propose? That the people that reared me from young are not my family? What utter nonsense, of course they are!" he rebuked loudly, frustrated with the absurdity that had left Wei Li's mouth.

In return, Wei Li eyed Yu Zhen with a serious expression – something Yu Zhen wasn't accustomed to seeing on the rather immature crown prince's face. "It is a possibility; after all, if you have in possession an ability other than your given ability, one that is also not inherited from your 'family', then there is a chance that, that is the case. Even if you decide to completely ignore it as a possible likelihood due to being in denial."

Startled, Yu Zhen stilled and silenced.

Wei Li who detected Yu Zhen's unease chuckled to himself, "but who knows?" he added with a shrug. "Although, I do recommend that you don't tell anyone else of this healing ability of yours, for your own safety. Who knows what could happen to you if enemies of the Ling Kingdom discovered you had such a rare and valuable ability in your hands; to be frank, I don't want to know what they'd do to you. It's not every day someone has a healing ability that enables them to regenerate at such an alarming speed." Wei Li explained nonchalantly, almost as though the words that had come out his mouth weren't all that important.

With clear eyes filled with concern and curiosity, Yu Zhen finally responded with a single nod; accepting the beneficial news given to him by Wei Li.

"Well then!" Wei Li cheered with a bright smile. Slapping his hands together to emphasize the end of the previous conversation.

"Let's quickly leave for the hall! All of which who were present for that horrible incident have been gloomy since late last night – it's horrendously suffocating being around them all – in saying that, it's best that we go and greet everyone and show them that you're perfectly fine. Otherwise, I think I may just end up suffocating due to the heavy air that is currently residing inside the hall." Wei Li sighed with an expression that read: pity me, pity me!

Just what on Earth goes through his head...?

Yu Zhen sighed, he had intended to rest in the recovery room for a while longer initially, but in the end he could only agree with Wei Li: "yes, okay."

"Lady Zhen!" a familiar voice cried out in panic. Yu Zhen turned his head in the direction of the voice and felt relieved at who he saw, "Da Shun, greetings" Yu Zhen warmly greeted with a bright and friendly smile.

"How are you feeling? Are your wounds healed?" Da Shun inquired curiously; concerned for his new found friend. From which Yu Zhen could only smile and use his hands as a gesture to say: I'm fine, I'm fine. With a complicated look in his eyes, Da Shun looked at Yu Zhen questioningly, "worry not Da Shun, I'm perfectly fine now. But, hey! Don't you think they'll have my name carved into mountain sides, as well as written in ancient records of history for my wonderful and generous act of valiant bravery? Yu Zhen chuckled jokingly.

"Your humor is so very dry – so dry in fact – that it's suffocating, so please my lady, stop" Da Shun sighed with a disappointed tone in his voice. "And yet they're still better than you're none existent jokes" Yu Zhen laughed aloud, warming the hearts of those who heard. Others too, joined in on the laughing that transpired between Da Shun and Yu Zhen.
