Sam's POV

I've been hanging out with Peter a lot lately, and he's an absolute dork. He is downright adorable but I'm too awkward to do anything. Any spare time I have (which is a lot) I try to spend with him. He makes me happy... God what is wrong with me! I thought I wasn't supposed to have emotions!

Right now, Peter is playing with Jay, who keeps shapeshifting into different animals. Honestly, I think Peter is having more fun than Jay, and HES definitely more childish. Peter keeps giggling like a mad man and I've never seen anything cuter (other than Jay of course).

I hear someone walk in, but I'm too into staring at the boys to care. "What're you doing?" Nat says with a knowing smirk. I turn around quickly, annoyed that I let my guard down.

"Just watching Jay," I say, but she knows that's not the truth. Well it is, but not the whole truth.

"Mhmm, sure," she says with elongated words.

I hit her shoulder lightly, "hey! I am!" I say, more trying to convince myself than her. Suddenly, she grabs my arm and drags me to another room, the arcade room.

"Honey, I've seen the way you look at him and the way he looks at you. At this point it's annoyingly," she says with a laugh. "Either grow a pair and ask him out or cut all ties with him completely. I'm sick of watching you two give each other blatantly obvious signs and ignore them!"

"I can't ask him out! Do you know how awkward I am! Plus I've never done the whole 'relationship thing' anyway. What if I mess it up? What if he hates me? What if he's just hanging out with me out of pity? What if-," I say nervously before she cuts me off.

"I swear to any god that is out there, if you doubt your love for him or his love for you I'm about to kill Jay," I immediately flip her over with a blade to her neck, "... or maybe not."

"Don't touch my baby," I say threateningly. She puts her hands up in surrender and I release her but stay tense.

She rolls her eyes at me, "jeez Sam! I was kidding! You're so uptight! A boyfriend could help with that," she says with a smirk and a wink.

"No."

"I'm not taking no for an answer."

"No," I say more firmly, glaring her in the eyes.

"That's it," she runs out of the room, leaving me standing in shock. When I hear her shout for Peter, I finally come to my senses and sprint after her with a slight limp thanks to my healing injuries from yesterday. I watch as Peter asks what Nat wants. Oh shit. "Sam likes y-," she's not able to finish her sentence as I grab her hair and yank it back, slapping my hand over her mouth. The only noise for a few moments is Nat's incoherent, muffled voice.

Peter looks a little, dare I say it, disappointed at first. Then a look of realisation washes over his face. "So, who's the lucky guy," he says with a smirk. Wait does that mean he thinks that he'd be lucky if we went ou- don't be ridiculous Sam.

"Uhh... just some guy that was at a coffee shop," I say, blushing like crazy. Gods, what is wrong with me?! He looks forlorn for a split second, but I notice.

"You gonna ask him out?"

"No!" I run out of the room, literally dragging Nat with me. When we're out of earshot I hit the back of her head. "What the fuck?!"

She giggles before looking at me, "I was trying to help! Did you see how sad he was," she says with a hint of sympathy.

"He clearly wanted me to ask the 'guy' out!" I scream at her.

"Yeah, because he's your best friend but wants to be more. He has to support you if he wants a relationship with you."

"You lied?" Peter asks, appearing around the corner. I look at him with pure horror, whereas Nat looks curious. "Enhanced senses," he says to Nat, before turning to look at me. Before he can even open my mouth I run out of the room.

Peter's POV

I look to Nat for help. I know she knows that I like Sam, and I don't even bother asking how. She just looks at me knowingly and says, "go get your girl, Stark."

"It's Parker!" I shout back as I run off to find Sam. What is it with everyone saying that Mr. Stark is like my dad?

I listen out to hear anything that could indicate where Sam was. I hear someone punching bags in the training room. Oh, that's her alright.

As I enter the room, I see Sam in just a sports bra and Nike pros and DAMN I can't take my eyes off of her. It's only when she coughs do I realise she's looking at me. "Eyes up here, Parker," she says, slightly flushed (from the training or me? Don't be stupid Peter, the training of course).

"Um I, uh..." my mouth suddenly goes very dry and my brain isn't helping either. I notice her walking towards me. For a minute, I think she's going to make a move, but she reaches for a water bottle that was on the bench next to me. How did she get all this stuff so quickly? I clear my throat slightly, "well, um... you see- oh fuck it," I say and, with every ounce of dignity I have left, I kiss her.

At first, she doesn't respond, but just as I'm about to pull away, she kisses me back, wrapping her arms around my neck. God I never want this to end. She pulls away and we rest our foreheads on each other's. I look at her beautiful hazel eyes as we just bask in the moment.

But, of course, I had to ruin it. "Wait, fuck. You have a crush!" I say pulling away. "Holy shit I'm so sorry I never should've-."

"Parker."

"This was all an accident I'm so sor-."

"Parker."

"I could've just ruined your chances with h-."

"Peter!" I look up when she uses my first name. "It was you all along. Nat said that I liked someone and I panicked," she reassured me with the most adorable giggle I've ever heard.

"Oh thank god," I say breathlessly, before she pulls me into another kiss. This one is a lot more passionate than the other.

"What does this make us then?" She asks me. I then realise that I haven't formally asked me out.

"Sam Barnes, would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?" She giggles that adorable giggle again before answering yes.

Well, I'd say today went alright, but how to tell the others...

Who am I kidding. Nat's probably already told them anyway.
