My really bad art book XD [OLD]

So it's been a while. I know a couple months ago I posted on awr just explaining why I've been gone, but I thought it's about time I posted on here again. I've done a lot of drawing since I last updated, but most of it has been damaged over time just cause I'm a mess with no place to keep all my paper without it getting eventually screwed up and/or ripped, so I'm planning on redoing a lot of it. At the moment I'm working on a bunch of comics for ii, bfb, and naos (cough the naos ones will involve spoilers that literally only me and Ink know about but I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with the naos series now so I'm just chill with releasing this stuff but I'll do all that in its own chapter separate to the ii and bfb ones so if people still wanna stay spoiler free, they can), some of these comics I've done before but never released and others I just straight up haven't done before, it's just gonna be a huge mix. I've been having a lot of fun doing them, but over the past couple weeks I haven't been able to make any progress on that because I've just been busy with college work
Just a mini update for those of you who don't read awr/didn't see my huge ass update over there, I'm now taking a media course, which is fun.
I know this seems irrelevant to my art book, I promise that it isn't.

So anyway, I've been enjoying it so far, but I hadn't had a chance to do what I wanted to do. You see, yeah filming people is fun (less fun when you literally have like 1 irl friend who you see often, and he doesn't really wanna be filmed and you have crippling social anxiety that stops you from talking to new people, so you just flat out don't have any actors), but I'm a lot more interested in animation. I should say that I've never even tried to do animation before, and I can't draw digitally to save my life, so I never really considered doing it until I started this course.
But so far there has been no opportunities for me to give it a try.....until a couple weeks ago when we heard our new project was to make a music video (cough or an experimental film but literally only 2 people in my class picked that one cough)
And I was really excited, cause I make song storyboards all the time(I'm definitely gonna have to redo a bunch of them that I didn't get the chance to share on here), so I thought I had this in the bag.
But then came the big issue; what song should I do. I wanted to do an object animatic, because I know I draw objects better than people, but the main issue with that was the fact that I literally had no inspiration for naos animatics. I would of happily redone Pickle and Taco singing the tsundere song, or even Firey and Leafy singing wanderwall(something I definitely plan on making at some point), but for naos I just had no idea. And I didn't wanna come up with new object characters. I almost did several of the naos characters (Tiara, Eyephone, Mask, and Penty(cough obvious favouritism cough)) singing home by Cavetown, but I just couldn't stick with that idea. Another issue is that I literally have no idea how to even go about animating mouths, so it's safe to say any songs where someone is outright talking to another person is completely out of the picture. So in the end, after hours of trying to decide, but literally having no clue or inspiration, I just decided "screw it, I'm just gonna draw 2 random people and the song I Do Adore "

As I said, first time animating, hence why it looks pretty crappy, but despite this I'm actually quite proud of it, so I thought "ehh, it has a whole lot of my art, and it isn't as bad as my other projects that I've kept unlisted so that unless you find my college blog which I sure as hell ain't sharing with anyone, you're never gonna see them, so why not put it in my art book. And here I am : D

So yeah, there's my crappy first attempt at animation that I'm actually kinda proud of

It was fun but very infuriating moving about all the tiny pieces. And I'm pretty sure that we're gonna be finding random words, faces, and just awkwardly cut out blank pieces of paper in our house for months

Also I don't have any names for these 2 characters, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears
